There are a few in the small Tesco Metro in Brighton, near the Library in the North Laines! Got one this morning to introduce my mum to the world of digital audio!0

Er, these don't work with Macs, apparently.0

Hi my daughter and I bought 2 of these today for her boys and for the same price you can get a speaker for it as well. She bought the player and speakers the other week for herself and found them really good which was why her boys wanted a set each This was in the Bangor store N. Wales0

I think i spotted it up by Hanger Lane on the A40. Lying next to a piece of ripped tyre. Hope I save you some money.highguyuk wrote:It bases the average song on 2.9MB, to get 80 songs. I would average songs to be 3.5MB - 4MB.
However, I bought one. Had an mp3 player when they first came out a few years ago that held 18 songs on it that I have no idea where it is.
Tons of these left at Tesco Stafford.0 -
WooHoo!
I picked one of these up at Tesco in Hull and so far it's working fine...
(I think my ears don't like the earphones much tho...)0 -

Got one for ds and wanted to reiterate Jenny's point with incompatible headphone socket
Good cheapie though for the kids or memory stick :money:On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom):"Do not turn upside down."(well...duh, a bit late, now! )0 -
Still in stock in Carnforth
Got two just after christmas could not get them to work. I am using .wma files ( it says on the pack thta it wil play them) downloaded form woolworths site. I can see they have downloaded to the MP3 player form my computer and I can play them from the MP3 player via my computer but no way can I get them to play on the MP3 player via the headphones.
1) I have got a .wma file to play and work properly but it was not downloaded from a music site
2) i can get the sample music on the MP3 player to play
3) I have contacted tescos help line and they cannot help
4) i have contatced woolworths helpline and they cannot help
5) I have replaced the batteries
the only thing I can see is that the .wma files on my computer have a protection set on them. Right click on file and selcet properties and lthen licence it says "Protected Content" but I am assured by woolworths thta this should not be the problem.
I have returned both and got a full refund, but husband noted the new price today and picked up 1 at £4 somthing to give it another shot ( I know not exactly money saving but certainly if I can get it to work a cheaper option than small son losing more expensive version) reading this thread though I think it may be pointless.
Anyone got any bright ideas what the problem may be.The £2 Coin Savers Club = £96.00 joined 25/05/06
