Tried the collect at store option, but no stores near me offer this option.
Anyone know whether the Newton Abbot store has these in stock?
Don't know about Newton Abbot I'm afraid but Plymouth Woolwell still has a stack of them.0 -

Can't beat the price, but here are 4 disadvantages I know of having bought 2 last year for a tenner each:
1. You can't select the play order, I think it goes by date.
2. You can't use folders
3. Some MP3 files don't play, I have no idea why (they are OK on other gadgets)
4. My missus got hers slightly damp (2 or 3 spots) in the rain and it fizzled immediately. Thanks in advance,

I bought a couple of Tesco mp3 players last year when they were about £10. They were okay (bit nicer design than these), but after not using them for a couple of months they wouldn't work. Still, we had £10's worth of use out of them easily. I have bought a couple of the £5 ones for presents - lots left in Sale, Cheshire - but will be keeping the receipt.0

I loaded the one I bought with songs as a gift for someone... You can use folders. It stores the songs in alphabetical order, and plays all the songs in the first folder, moves onto the second, etc... So it is possible to select the play order by changing the names and adding 1, 2, 3, etc onto the start.
As for "80 songs"? I got 55 on mine, tops!!! :rolleyes:0 -
It bases the average song on 2.9MB, to get 80 songs. I would average songs to be 3.5MB - 4MB.
However, I bought one. Had an mp3 player when they first came out a few years ago that held 18 songs on it that I have no idea where it is.
Tons of these left at Tesco Stafford.0 -
Bought one in Carmarthen Tesco Extra on Saturday afternoon for £4.97 for my 9 y-o daughter. Works fine and because it's so simple to use she can't muck it up!
Also picked up a Learn French CD course and book in Lidl Carmarthen for £5.00!0 -
