What's the deal?

Tesco currently has on sale a Technika MP3 player for £4.97. Now this isn't a high tech model, just a simply piece of kit that holds about 80 songs (256MB), yet it comes with headphones and will do the job for the gym or holidays (see a pic here: Technika MP3 player*)

Where can you get it from?

• In-store: These are available in-store in the bigger Tesco stores and on-line. If going in-store for one, you may want to call and check if they have any first. Use the store locator to find your nearest store.

• Collect-in store. Even if its not stocked, you can order it online and have it delivered to your nearest store, and collect it from there for free. Technika MP3 player*

• Delivery to your house is expensive. If you want it delivered, they'll add on a £4.85 delivery charge. However you can opt to collect in-store at a limited number of stores. Simply click on 'select store' when checking out. Technika MP3 player*

just been into tesco and theyve reduced there technika mp3 players from 10 quid to 4.96 sorry if its already been posted

Just to let you all know, there isn't a screen on this

Thanks OP. These are really handy as a starter mp3 and for all the occasions when fancy mp3s and ipods are too valuable to take with you somewhere or are being replaced under warranty ( seems to be most of the time with my kids..:o )
Also the technika travel speaker- an all in one 'plug and play' is £4.95
