Oh well, been away from the forums for a couple of weeks and so totally missed this - gutted! If anyone changes their mind and doesn't want their galaxy tab give me a shout!

A HUGE thank you to the OP

I have been away and had missed this, I was in my local T today looking at £1 bargains and wandered past the Electricals, I saw that they had the Samsung Galaxy Tablet in the display cabinet - I spoke to SA who called manager - after a bit of persuasion he agreed to sell me the display model - it scanned at £149 and he gave me an extra £10 off because it was display model

I may have been a bit over excited and thanked him a million times, told him i had been to every tesco within 30 mile radius searching for electrical bargains as i was looking for 2 laptops for my daughters - he disappeared and came back with a samsung notebook - ex display and missing the "s" key - he scanned the box and I got it for £23.68!!! checked online and a new "s" button will cost me £4 and just clips in!!

add that to my £1 clothing bargains and i have had a very successful day

and to anyone else searching for Tab in Edinburgh area - the dalkeith store also has one on display as of 6pm - i saw this after i had my 2 and thought it might help someone!!

Bristol Imperial Park store possibly has stock of these again- I have been back and forward for the past wk or so to get this or the Archos 10" each time they have had a "sorry out of stock" label. However today both the Samsung tab and Archos 7" (£99) and Archos 10" (£149) had OOS labels removed. I didn't have time to ask about stock (and it was heaving - waited 20min at till for some1 to get item for me) levels but did purchase the Archos 10" so this is in stock. Hth
