I don't know if it's of any help to anyone tablet searching but if you go into somewhere like CEX they tend to let you haggle a fair bit of and you get a years guarantee still.
I went in and got an iPad for £260 which was marked up at £340 - so worth a try as some of these have Galaxy tablets, iPads, etc in... HTH

So ur OH just went into Best buy showed them a copy of the Tesco SEL label and they gave him 110% price match on 2 Galaxy tabs and batted no eye lids, no questions asked, never even checked with Tesco if they were in stock?

He'd already been in and found out what evidence they needed. The sa was very helpful and luckily when he went back with the sel the same sa was there. I wasn' t there so i don' t know exactly how the conversation went but he did phone a tesco but he couldn' t get through so let hubby have tabs on trust. The tesco he got the sel from did have 1 in stock but it was an error and the tesco sa said if he was phoned he would tell him what was on his system. Whether he would if it came down to it not sure. We've found the level of helpfulness to vary widely in the same store so depends whose working when you need them. My husband is very friendly so that might have helped, not sure.
