Hi guys, I am here flying as much as I can but work is still really busy. I have mainly spent the week clearing the ironing pile, keeping everywhere tidy and clearing my to-do list at work. The ironing is done, we are fairly tidy and my to-do list should be finished by the end of the week. We had a visitor earlier and we hardly had any rushing around to do. We bought a hand vac last week so we have been using that for small things so everything looks ok and I cleaned the kitchen last night so visitors don't seem to make us panic at the moment.
I know I haven't been here much recently but can I please ask for lots of posi-vibes. DHs niece (so I guess mine too) has just been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Understandably it has rocked her and her immediate family's world and I can't get it out of my head either. She is waiting for results to see how things are so it is just a waiting game but not a particularly nice one. Also can I ask, if any of you are putting off going for a smear test then please don't put it off any longer. Go and get tested regularly, it is far better than the alternative!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

I really haven't been around enough, congratulations
Thank you.. she was 3 weeks old on Friday.. muchly cuteness in a squeaky bundle..
.. and not had a bath yet.. she has been washed but is just tiddly tiny so hates being naked.
She is also cooked in her basket so has barely woken to be fed let alone bathed.. so tomorrow it is my aim to bath a small baby and a large baby.
The HV came on Monday and laughed at Squeak.. she agrees she is far too big to be crawling lol... she is very nearly walking though.. she walked up about 11ft of hallway yesterday.. very very slowly!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Can't see why, surely there's nothing scary about a shop with girls with bright blue/green/purple hair, tattoos, fishnet stockings and vast numbers of piercings?I know I haven't been here much recently but can I please ask for lots of posi-vibes. Morning. Had a really disturbed night, just kept waking up all night. Both of my girls slept elsewhere last night so it was my night alone since this last lot of trouble with XH and my BD so DD1 was worried about leaving me
DC4 & 5 are chasing each other around the house, DC5 bashing everything with her lampshade! DC1 & 2 would rather be outside in the rain than put up with the kittens and DC3 went out last night and hasn't come back so she's probably at the neighbours
They woke up the other night to find her sleeping with them!
She got in their landing windowgood thing they don't mind
It's piddling down so I'm not going anywhere plus Mr T delivery is due this morning.
The front room is a bomb site so I'll have a fruit tea and start on that, though most of it is the DD's.
DD1 and I had a look around the baby clothes sale bit in Mr T's yesterday as I have 2 nappy cakes to make, she was then trying to persuade me to buy her build a bear some new clothes  (which I didn't) She's nearly 16 and the bear hasn't been out since last Christmas!!
So of course when we got home out came the bear and it's box of clothes and have promptly been left in the front room! :mad:0 -
Hello all, hope you are all well xx
I'm afraid I have failed this week and the house is a mess.
Not sur if much will get done today, (the wm is on), as I feel a bit rough, and have lots of homework to do.
I;ll find a list and see what is do-able.............xx0 -

Good morning
DH did the ironing again yesterday before he went to work :T he also took DS to get new football boots (size 7 1/2!!) I went food shopping and also popped into town to get DS's new rugby shirt for school (I think he is having a growth spurt). I don't think the shopping did my shoulder any goodIt was the 15kg bag of dog food that did it, and moving it in & out of the trolley/car
At least it lasts about 8 weeks
Had chinese take away for dinner last night. I was going to treat everyone to lunch today, but they wanted chinese, so i got that instead (cheaper than sunday lunch anyway)
this morning i have done some more reading, put 1 load in WM, put on DW and put the chicken in the oven. DD1 is sorting out stuff she needs to take back to uni this afternoon. We are having an early lunch, then i drive her back (takes about an hour and a quarter). I want to be back before it gets dark, as Ii don't like driving in the dark.
I MUST do some serious studying today aswell. I really don't want to get behind, but I am finding it hard to get into the habitAnd I have to do a 'Learning Journal' about my 'thought's about my learning, and how I 'feel' I don't know where to start
Ok. I think i will peel the spuds, then do some study while the kids go to the park (with the dog, hopefully) so that DD2 can take movement pictures on the swings etc for her photography coursework.
Hugs & spoons to those that need them, and posi vibes to AJ's neice.
Adamantine - I thought I heard something on the news the other day about dropping the number of hours needed to be worked to claim childcare for tax credits. I don't think I imagined it! Try searching the BBC news website (it would have been BBC news I heard it on). I don't know when that would come into effect though0
