    Er...you billed me for goods you will not deliver & have not refunded me, therefore caused a financial loss as I will have to pay a credit card bill for items I don't have/won't have & have to await someone somewhere in your office to realise that refunds are due & process them.

    They claim they are only human when it comes to stock control ...erm...is it THAT difficult to keep correct records?

    Also that the procedure with paypal is that it bills immediately. Oh no it doesn't. Other sites I deal with do not bill until despatch...

    All those that paid via paypal, please check your records & chase for a refund.

    They even put the phone down on me as I asked someone "to get off their backside & sort it out".(Actual words :D) Now I don't call that rude but they do....obviously no sense of humour there either. Manager at lunch so I have to await a call back (yeah right)....

    I will NEVER order from this ghastly company again & will ensure that I pass the word round on how awful the lack of service is. :wall:

    Grrrrrr.......need a bacon butty ...

    I replied to the original cancellation e-mail with a request for a refund of my Paypal payment and received it the following morning.

    We should not HAVE to request the money back though - it should be automatic !

    So if they can do it for you...why not the rest of us? :mad:

  • My order came yesterday - really pleased with it. £3.50 for a sundress and a towel delivered. Would definately use this website again.

    I've just opened a paypal dispute to get my money back as no refund is showing yet. This usually gets companies to refund PDQ.

  • I am fuming with this company as well and find their CS to be rude as well!!!...

    Will NEVER use them or recommend them again as its not just about when ''things go right'' but how a company sort things out when ''things go wrong'' and the cancellation e-mail seems glib as in they could have done more in the way of apologising since it was THEIR ERROR

    Even offering us a £5 voucher or SOMETHING as a 'gesture of goodwill' ie to keep us believing in their company!!!!!

    I wrote to them saying I was very unhappy as my order was cancelled and would they do something to recoup my loyalty to the company as I was raving about them before they sent all the cancellation e-mails through

    But all they did is offer to send me a catalogue with a 20% off voucher which is pretty much a standard offer as most companies offer EVERYONE a 10-20% off voucher code at some point , so no , was not impressed with their offer

    She even wrote back and abruptly said ''its not a standard offer'' but to me a 20% off code is as codes like that are readily available everywhere across the web , and I didn't want 20% off actually I wanted the item I ordered which was showing in stock and the free towel they offered everyone!! :mad:
  • I have just opened a Paypal dispute as well & not impressed with this company at all - Quick to take the money and slow to issue refunds ie you have to CHASE THEM UP for a refund which I hate..

    Even if my items arrived after reading everyones experiences on here I still wouldn't be impressed with them tbh!!

    OK, I was promised a call back from a manager today before they went home at 4pm.

    Manager's call didn't happen - not a surprise really.
    So..

    No response from manager.
    No response to email.
    No response to paypal dispute.
    No goods.

    CS don't work over the weekend, nor do head office.

    Plus BOTH transactions are on my credit card bill to pay this month.

    Oh I am SO not impressed. :mad::mad::mad::mad:

    That refund had better hit my account pronto.

    I agree that the CS leaves much to be desired.

    I have just opened a dispute too with paypal, absolute sham, to cancel orders monday yet not refund the very same day....:mad: 5 days later seems we are all still waiting for our money back...........:mad::mad:

  • I hate it when I have to chase up a company for a refund!!!

    You are right , they are so far even ignoring the Paypal disputes but I reckon its not looking good for them on their Paypal account to get quite a few disputes all at once!! ;);)

    They certainly haven't ended up 'attracting new customers' with their free towel offer , its had the opposite effect

    I wrote a comment on their Facebook page where they featured the towel offer , but you guessed it , no response whatsoever

    Not good business practice across the board with this company which is a shame! :(:(

    I've just escalated the paypal dispute, so I'll see how long it takes them to refund me......an apology for lousy CS would be nice too but I'm not holding my breath for it!
