Mine has dispatched but I feel sorry for all of you who have had orders cancelled as it seems unfair when your items were showing instock on the site when ordering.:(
I feared when posting that Greenbaby might not be able to cope with all the orders as I think they are quite a small company. But I wanted to share grabbit so other could benefit too from the offer. For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0 -
Yep - cancelled here too0

I did 2 orders & cancelled one yesterday (realised 2 items v similar) - today I got the other one cancelled by them due to lack of stock. Yet when I spoke to them, only the beach towels were out of stock. I'd be happy with the T shirt which I wanted...hmmm....wonder if the free delivery was also too much for them....:mad:Lurking in a galaxy far far away...0

OK, did 2 orders, I cancelled 1 (when checked & found towel not in stock), they cancelled the other due to the lack of stock excuse. But I wanted the item for that one - never mind the towel!!
Checked my paypal today - BILLED 02.10.11 for BOTH orders & no refund issued..as at 7.10.11
Rang them - they didn't really understand what the issue was..:(
Er...you billed me for goods you will not deliver & have not refunded me, therefore caused a financial loss as I will have to pay a credit card bill for items I don't have/won't have & have to await someone somewhere in your office to realise that refunds are due & process them.
They claim they are only human when it comes to stock control ...erm...is it THAT difficult to keep correct records?
Also that the procedure with paypal is that it bills immediately. Oh no it doesn't. Other sites I deal with do not bill until despatch...
All those that paid via paypal, please check your records & chase for a refund.
They even put the phone down on me as I asked someone "to get off their backside & sort it out".(Actual words
) Now I don't call that rude but they do....obviously no sense of humour there either. Manager at lunch so I have to await a call back (yeah right)....
I will NEVER order from this ghastly company again & will ensure that I pass the word round on how awful the lack of service is. :wall:

I think it depends on which mechanism they have set up with PayPal. I run a small business and a month or two ago PayPal did something at their end which stopped them simply authorising the payment and now they take the payment immediately. I have contacted them to ask them why they have made the change and to ask how to change it back and PayPal simply don't know why it has happened. It seems to be only doing this for a minority of their business customers which means that it is only those of us who use one particular IT script to pass the details to them. Bloomin' annoying for both the business and the customer.
Also to be fair to Green Baby we have had to abandon the automated stock levels on our site as it was preventing customers from ordering items that were due back into stock soon, or new items coming soon. If they have suddenly been overwhelmed with orders which they wouldn't have ordinarily have had it would make it very difficult to track stock levels (it isn't unheard of for a stock system to end up being 1 or 2 out anyway just through human error).
I do agree that there should have been consistency with the way they dealt with the cancellations though!0 -
Ditto, lets hope the refund happens as quick as the cancellation,
luby xThank you for Shopping with Green Baby,
