    Morning everyone,

WM is on and I am enjoying a cup of tea while sitting around in my dressing gown. This is something I love doing but only manage about once a month.

This morning DS goes back to rugby for the first time since he got knocked out. I am a bit nervous for him but he seems ok about it.

The girls and I are off to church if DD1 gets up in time after her late party last night, otherwise it is just me and DD2.

Hugs to all that need them.

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Morning All

Our dog sulked with me yesterday because I washed her bed cover! She even took to sitting on DD's child-sized leather armchair at one point and as she's the size of a labrador she looked quite ridiculous lol

Well DD made sure I didn't have time to miss the Twins - we ended up at the emergency doctors after midnight and she has a kidney inection so she's had a very disturbed night and woke up at 5:30 yelling that she was going to be sick - luckily we made the sick bowl!

Not sure what i'll get done today but DH is starting the decorating when he gets in from work - I was going to make a start but it depends on the little lady.

Enjoy your sunshine - i'm sure we'll have more rain!

Looks Like its gearing up to being another hot one. JC you can have my sun I want my autumn back :o

Not sure what plans are for today. Think H will want to finish off sorting out the garage. New bike comes in a week so it needs to be done today. Need to bake some brownies for DS lunch box and sort out the rest of the ironing. Not very exciting really. Was toying with the idea of mooching round a car boot but really do I need any more carp :o I've got a couple of boxes of stuff I want to eBay so really shouldnt be buying more stuff

Hugs and spoons to everyone. Have a good day OS or not.

    Morning all...

Another beautiful morning here In Kent, it really does not seem right to smell Barbecues cooking in Oct :rotfl:

Not a lot happening here again today, just the usual quick tidy round and the ironing
Was meant to be having Shepherds pie for dinner today but I forgot to get the mince out of the freezer :( So god knows what we will have no... I am not buying anything so it will more than likely be Jacket potato and quiche or something like that.

Hope everyone has a great day....x

    Morning :hello:

tired mum, sorry about little dog :(

Today I'll be hiding in the house, all windows open and all curtains closed :D

We drove back from Cornwall yesterday. All of my tops were dirty except for a jumper and a worn-once-would've-worn-again-before-washing thin shirt. When I got dressed, it was cool and misty so I threw the shirt into the dirty clothes bag and put the jumper on. Then the sun came out so I went to rescue the shirt - too late, it had landed next to a wet towel and we'd already left the cottage so I couldn't dry it. The van has no air con so the drive home was a nightmare. Still, I bet I lost a stone and a half through sweating so it's not all bad :rotfl:

We bought some just-landed fish straight from the harbour yesterday - £10 for 6.5lbs - they've been bagged up and put in the freezer. We stopped in Charlestown, wandered down to the rocks with a bag and some scissors and picked seaweed. That's been dehydrated in the oven.

Miss tru has been looking after the chickens while we were away. We usually sell most of the eggs and eat the rest, but this week her and her brother have eaten a few and she's been putting the rest in a basket. I have 46 eggs :D

Well, I suppose I'd better put the washing on :D

    Morning everyone,
I hope your all enjoying the sun. As it has rained non-stop here now since friday afternoon, and I mean heavy rain that would soak you right though. :( At least its not cold but is very dull.
BM on. Roast beef and vegs for tea tonight, and some HM soup and Hm bread for lunch.

Had a friend call me yesterday morning to ask if she could come over for a talk, she came to tell me she had got a loan to do the house up, she only had it done six months ago:eek:
She knows I have been trying to pay what debt I have and have not been buying things I DONT need and making do with what I have.

She than asked if I would have some things she didnt want I said no problem.I am now the owner of.

2 sets of Duvet and matching curtains for my bedroom. 4 months old
2 new sets of sheets not opened (they dont match her new bedlnen)
Halagon oven ( she couldnt be bothered with it) 3 months old
Toaster and matching kettle new in box ( doesnt match her kitchen)

This is from a lady who is far more in debt than me at least ten times more. But she borrows all the time to do the house up then changes her mind a few months later. I asked her about her debt is she not worried that she borrowing too much and there might come a time she cant pay it back. She said I will worry about that when it happens but in the mean time I am enjoying myself.
She had already dropped stuff off to her mum and sister before me.
These two ladies are the total opposite from her.
I just could not live like that I told her I would be a mess.

Hope everyone who has the sun enjoys it and has a wonderful day:)
Taking it one day at a time
