    Funny manner?

All he said was "You could try gumtree, naturally you may get more for the handset than say a HTC Wildfire, but be prepared for the handset not being as premium to the next person as it is to you."

He's correct in what he said - nothing funny about it at all. Not everyone thinks the iPhone is worth the money, so he was letting you know that you may not get as much as you expect.

TBH I don't really care - it just seemed odd that you took one minor comment and launched into a "I hate HTC" rate over nothing. Good luck with the iPhone 5, I hope the antenna works properly without having to put a rubber band round it.

What you edited out from the quote is the problem....

"You mean to say they are not already camping outside your door to make the purchase?"

Why on earth will some one put something like this when replying to a straight forward query

So I don't take any crap....you get me.. that's why I've decided to go after it

[Tune in] If you go to the stream selection of the radio that you are listening and then change it to a AAC or wma stream that reduces your data usage by as much as 60 to 70 %. problem solved.

and by the way how many times that you've attempted turning your fm radio tuner compared to tune in - especially indoors...?? no chance

I'm not complaining about data usage, I said people have mentioned it, as you can see I have access to both products, there is no need for me to pretend the Apple product is near perfect, it is far from it, people who don't have an Apple product do so because they choose not to, not necessarily because they cannot afford it.
I'm sure you are also aware that Apple may launch a budget version of the IP4, don't you think that will restrict you captive market even further?

When you put it on gumtree or ebay, then yo may find that it either sells quickly at a price you were expecting or you will get timewasters looking for some thing for nothing.

Ever think it might have been a JOKE? No need to act like a hard man with all this "mate" and "I don't take any crap" stuff - I read it as a joke, that's all. Looks like you took it the wrong way. A bit of light-hearted banter on an internet forum, that's all.

I've sold electronics on eBay before, in order to pocket £280 for my phone I need to achieve at least £350 on an eBay auction. so I won't be doing that on eBay..

gum tree is a hit and miss, I don't have time to test that water.

I'm off to 02 which is the best bet at the moment, and I'm guaranteed to get £282. no hassle.

Some people don't have a sense of humour, but I would have thought that having an iphone 4 ....no forget it :rotfl:

I had no intention of starting a iphone vs android/htc debate when I posted this query, but I was expecting some apple haters to the mix.

But wasn't expecting that on the very first post.

After reading your comment I realize what has happened, anyway it was good fun...
