If I'd bought a £600 phone 12 months ago and was now being offered £280 for it, I wouldn't be as happy as you seem to be.

I think you are a bit worried about hearing not so good things about HTC.

Read my post carefully..I bought my phone for £520 - so after 15 months of use...I'm happy to lose £240 of its value -

    I need a phone that works mate...all the time....:T

As long as you hold it properly. Oh that's right, Apple had to give out rubber covers to "fix" the antenna problem :)

Not really - as I said, I own both HTC and Apple products, and like them both. Just wondering why you jumped on DUTR so quickly when he mentioned HTC in passing.

Any particular reason why you seem to have embarked on an anti-HTC rant? DUTR only mentioned the HTC Wildfire in passing, and all of a sudden you're giving us all the reasons why you don't like HTC ... bizarre. Are you on here to find out where to sell your phone, or to rant about how you hate HTC?

Oh and before you tell me I'm a Fandroid, I've actually got both an HTC Wildfire S and an iPod Touch - both are very good at what they do, and do what I want them to do.

Instead of replying normally form the beginning DUTR started off in a funny manner, and then started posing htc as a comparison, which kick started the whole thaing...so you better have a chat with DUTR first....:A

yes iphone 4 costs much more than that. its full retails price is £599, but my TCO for that phone with my 1y contract was £520 so £282 for that phone is good money for me.

I compare desire with my phone coz I know people who got it for much higher TCO than my contract and that phone looks cheap and is inferior.

And you are talking about the same old irrelevant features which make me laugh

User replaceable battery - how many people actually done it most people end up charging the who where they go and buy additional charge leads than a second battery

FM radio - when you've got a smartphone with internet always on who the heck is going to care about 80's idea of FM and I always had fm's on my nokia phones and which really awkward to use - you need the handset leads connected to make it work and it works 1 out of 100 attempts and poor reception.

I don't know whether you've heard of Tunein radio app....that what more people cares about that traditional FM

And Flsh - which not really the traditional flash 80% of flash websites never works on mobile variant. so forget it...even adobe has ditched it...

As you can see I have an ipod touch so I am aware of tune in radio, I also have a wildfire, the picture was taken with a SE satio which is my day to day handset, the competiton handsets dont suffer with the grip of death syndrome, as a lot of posts are regarding high data usage, then having a traditional radio has it's benefits.

    Funny manner?

All he said was "You could try gumtree, naturally you may get more for the handset than say a HTC Wildfire, but be prepared for the handset not being as premium to the next person as it is to you."

He's correct in what he said - nothing funny about it at all. Not everyone thinks the iPhone is worth the money, so he was letting you know that you may not get as much as you expect.

TBH I don't really care - it just seemed odd that you took one minor comment and launched into a "I hate HTC" rate over nothing. Good luck with the iPhone 5, I hope the antenna works properly without having to put a rubber band round it.

[Tune in] If you go to the stream selection of the radio that you are listening and then change it to a AAC or wma stream that reduces your data usage by as much as 60 to 70 %. problem solved.

and by the way how many times that you've attempted turning your fm radio tuner compared to tune in - especially indoors...?? no chance
