No, if you read my first posting about subject.
They have claimed we tampered with reduced items only.
No cctv footage & only 1 member of staff "saying" or thinking we did it. No other complaint.0 -
I used to work in a supermarket
and it used to get on my nerves as people used to hang
around like harks waiting for reductions, and when I did my
reductions people would be snatching them out of your hands
and rude crist you would have thought a war had broken out and I had the last of the cream cakes or you sure there is not more to this tale and why would you want to spend your money there
as you have stated you didn't spend much there anyway

Maybe your right. But why make this type of thing up ?
why not just ask you leave or a warning.
Because they get paid to have banned people: it goes down as stopping a shoplifter and everyone involved gets a cash reward. I know this as I used to work in retail and would speak to other retail workers- its not there to be abused but like everything, people do.0 -

I meant the poster I quoted. I can see no problem with your attitude from your posts here. You seem very polite.
I would, as others suggested, write to the CEO. Also follow the points one poster gave you. If it is not lifted, then hell, go to watchdog.
I have no idea what is the problem with some posters on here. What ever happened to being nice? Plenty of people go in especially for reductions. Plenty hang around till reductions are made. Plenty do not harass staff, get grabby, push others aside and snatch the lot. So why the mass attack, supposing this poster did?!
A lot of people visit stores daily for reductions. Unemployment is increasing, food prices are increasing, not to mention the fuel prices to refrigerate, freeze and cook it. For some people, reduced food means being able to afford leather Clarkes school shoes for their children, not cheap nasty ones. Or it means they eat healthier, as cheap meals are not always healthy.
Those telling the original poster to 'get a life' are out of order. If they do not understand why, they need to get one.0 -

Well done for posting a hewlpful comment, as some seem to forget that is what this site is about.
Many people can only afford to eat/ eat well by buying whoopsies(as many on this site advocate).
OP innocent `til proven guilty, as advised contact the CEO AND COMPLAIN.
Some staff need to understand the customer pays their wage!!(but as a customer it often pays to be polite)0
