well assuming this idea does come to fruition, and i do manage to get the mortgage paid after my mortgage insurance runs out and i have no other income
does the mortgage payment cover the full mortgage regardless of how much the mortgage is, or is it a set amount that they give?
in addition is this mortgage payment dependent on me being on jobseekers?0 -
Check your policy. Most have a section outlining what is expected of you by way of mitigating their liability. This may well include jobseeking. Some companies even use in house/outside agencies who "help" people back to work.0

You will need to be on income based JSA. Also they will only pay a % of the interest not it all and only for a limited period of time. You will have to pay rest yourself. Why are you thinking about this anyway? Surly you will of gotten a job by then.....0

That's not strictly true. The amount they will pay towards your mortgage is added onto the amount the law says you need to live on. If you were on a contribution based benefit any housing costs would be income based.
