Got about 20 coats washed this week in the sunshine - all the bedding and some fleeces to do today.

I read that as goats, and sat here wondering where you had got 20 goats from :rotfl:and why you had washed them all :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Beautiful day here, have had one load on the line all night, and one in the wm, and another to follow, I shall leave my goats till another day.

OH has gone to the boot sale and dd is still in bed, so just me and little dog here, have had tea and toast, nice way to start the morning.

Today we need to go and collect some bookcases we won on ebay, they are just up the road, we will also take another bathroom load to the tip, which should clear it. We need to buy some paint and window board while we are out, and hopefully do the finishing touches on the bathroom.

Dinner tonight is chicken casserole, which I will prepare this morning ready to shove in the oven later on, I really miss my sc since it died, and must get another one soon, will do rice or jacket spuds with the casserole.

Usual housework to do but I shall get the [STRIKE]slaves[/STRIKE] others involved so it wont take long.

Went to see dad yesterday at the home, and he slept through my whole visit again, I spent my time sitting next to dad, having an excersise class with the elderly folk :D.

    Kimsmum hugs to you x

hillstep have a great holibobs x

Jaxx Hope your ok this morning x

    Have good days all xx

Good Morning chums ,another warm one by the looks of things I have seemingly run out of things to wash :):)But today am going to concentrate on doing some baking.I am making some small iced fairy cakes and a dozen or so cookies, and probably a carrot cake and if I can find enough ingrediants, a nice fruit cake for the tin.Saves a fortune when the boys come round as especially the little ones love HM cake.

Eldest DD will pop down at some point for her caffeine fix as I always make a huge pot of coffee at the weekends and she will let me know when my BIL funeral is this week as she is ringing my SIL today in Leicester.
The water chaps have been around marking up the new meter sites but so far haven't heard when they will start to change everyone yet.Apparently we are all being changed within the next few months.I am hoping it will cut down my bills a bit as at the moment I am paying around £290 + per year and there's only me in the house God knows how my youngest DD will get on as there is seven in their house including 5 males.
Well time for some breakfast so I hope everyone has a great day
    Cheers chums

    Hi all
Thanks for the link hilstep, I'll check it out.
I have 2 loads of washing out on the line, hubby is still in bed with manflu!
I met the new foster children briefly, they are the youngest of 5 the other 3 are older & have been in care for a long time , they are both small, skinny & were heaving filthy dirty when they arrived, both were born addicted to heroin & still have ongoing health issues from this. Both children think it is very strange to have to wash, clean their teeth, wear clean clothes daily rather than weekly/monthly. Controversial I know, but why aren't some people forcibly sterilised? How many more children is this person going to produce? Ok, stepping off my soapbox now. I took some books & soft toys to DD's for the children & some more cherry tomatoes & vegetarian sausages, the children are vegetarian but don't eat vegetables! DD managed to persuade them to eat some cherry toms by telling the children that as I grew the toms in my garden in the sunshine that they tasted of sunshine & they polished off the whole bowlful.
    Time to unload the DW.
    Hugs Hester

Bless your dd for what a great thing she is doing :T, it makes me so mad that some people can keep producing children, and some others like a friend of mine are really struggling to concieve, just doesn't seem fair :(

    Morning All

Twins move out today and I feel 'odd'. Its almost incomprehensible that my 'babies' won't be under my roof but they have been so bl00dy temperamental lately the peace will be welcome. It will also be nice to have DH as Man of the House without him being constantly challenged by two testosterone fuelled upstarts! But....still feels 'odd' I'm also due to hit 'that time of the month' which probably doesn't help!

Anyway...Step kids at their mums this weekend for the first time in about 6 weeks, DH working so just me and DD, online shop due to be delivered later this morning so I want to clean the fridge before it comes. WM is on with my work clothes. uniforms are done and dry, will do DW next

One thing I am looking forward to about the lads going is being able to cook a wider range of things or dinner - they don't eat pasta, peppers or anything too tomatoey - I think I have pasta on the meal plan three times this week :D

Hester - Your DD sounds like a real angel, you must be very proud x

Have a good day - think of me in the pouring rain while you're enjoying your sunshine!!

    Morning all

Warm here...was awake for at least an hour before OH surfaced. Of course as soon as I came down and put kettle on he woke up! We went to the Circus of the Netherlands last night and it was brilliant! Very OS as a friend gave me complimentary tickets that admitted two people if you bought a £5 programme. DS cut the front grass yesterday-result! Looks like the back might need doing by Monday as I want to have it short for the winter-don't always manage to be that organised.

Tea is.......I don't know but it may be spinach potato and chickpea curry as Morrisons have some spinach at 59p a bag and as we don''t always use it all up and I tend I make this dish when spinach is cheap. Freezer is rammed but OH off chicken as we had a lot when Visitor was here and I've got a fair bit in there courtesy of Tesco 2for £4 chickens the other week. I need more cheap Branston beans-does anyone know of any offers?

Anyway have a good day all and hugs and kind thoughts to all who need them

  • Morning all...

I've been awake for hours now with my tendonitis foot, the pain is really not nice now and I'm struggling to do the most basic of things :(
I managed to peg out the whites as the sun is beautiful here 2day (almost crippled me tho)

I'm due at the estate agents today but I'm going to call them and try to do everything by phone instead, don't know if that'll work but there's no way I can walk into town.

I promised dd she could make pizza today so will stick to that, luckily we have stools in the kitchen so that shouldn't be to bad. Might do a few cakes with her aswell as I don't think we'll be going anywhere now today :(

Other than that not much else going on, I'm glad I did majority off washing yesterday when foot wasn't as bad.

Have a lovely day all xxx

    Morning everyone

Sunny and bright here this morning. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock, but I woke at the same time so made us both a cuppa before he left, then went back to bed until a more reasonable hour.

Have 1 load ready to go on washing line. DS1 watching the Rugby and DS2 doing homework both have had brekkie. Did manage to get another load of ironing done yesterday. Didn't manage to get cooking/baking done yesterday as had a case of the CBA and it was soo hot - need to be productive today and get it done, so will be endeavouring to do it this morning before it gets too hot. Have menu planned a roast chicken for later but not sure what with - may do roasties, veg and gravy - it's going to depend on time available.

Once DH back from work we have to take caravan in to have the warranty work done - so will be without it for 2-4 weeks - we don't have anything planned until mid November so not too worried - just want if fixed!

Must crack on otherwise I'll be on here for too long.

Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

    hello guys
dont you all get up early i think that i evey day!beautiful day here so my washing can go out but like the other post said im running out of things to wash.got all the kids here so asking now what they want me to bake. so far the only suggestion is rolls.so they may be on the menu. as you know i love saturdays as they consist of a bit of light housework and then a sit down to watch come dine with me and then a takeway. it the small things that make me happy and this is a day i love.
smallest child keeps drumming with his drum kit while my middle one is trying to concentrate on facebook. i see a war coming up. dad will come in and sort it out. nobody takes notice of me. well sometimes they do!!
