This morning I UU my Crabtree & Evelyn Cayman Winds Silkening Meringue Body Lotion 200mls. WNBA - really didn't like it. The smell was off puting and just felt a bit yucky going on. Now onto my Banana Republic body lotion.

I went to Boots today and saw all the Christmas gifts they have on display.

I wasn't tempted. Not in the slightest.

    I think I'm winning! :D

Good morning all. Hi Rosemary glad you had a lovely holiday.

Another UU to report : tube of Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub. WBA as it's my HG product but not until after my hols now. Have a few sachets of facial peel and a tube of Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator to take away with me and use when I get back.

Used the new Veet Oriental Wax kit on my legs last night and am really impressed by it. Very easy to use.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

UU: sachet(SP?) dermalogic gentle eye make up remover - WNBA - stung quiet badly
UU: Sachet Clarins night active cream - WNBA too rich for my skin
UU: Clynol finsihing shine paste - WNBA - too diificult to judge how much to use without ending up greasy!

Hairspray is spluttering - not sure if I have any in the stash apart from my travel one which as I am away with work every other week I would like to keep!

Something completely off topic but I know a lot of you are animal friendly If you click on this link and then on the links that appear at the bottom of the page, you can play with Ripley the dog and take her for a virtual walk. Each walk raises £1 for abandoned dogs.
It appears you can take her for a walk more than once to raise another £1 :0)

Can't be faffed with "not my job"ness!

Can I request you to be my nurse next time I'm admitted? :D

    I've have a UU and a couple of IN's:

UU: S&G Glad Hair Day Shampoo. WIBA? Yes - see IN's :rotfl:

    IN's:

S&G Glad Hair Day Shampoo: I think I've found my HG shampoo and conditioner - they certainly make my hair feel soft and smooth and the cleanliness lasts so if I feel like skipping a day it's still shiny 48 hours later :T
Champneys Intensive Serum: I'm still looking for a serum to match my (unaffordable) HG - P&P - so thought I would try this one next seeing as I had coupons to give me £6 back in points :p My S&G serum is spluttering and I had none in stock.

And -I'm off to take the puppy for a walk - thanks for the link :D

I'm really sorry and I know this off-topic but...

...the new homes in the village went on the bidding website last Wednesday. I've just been in touch with the guy from the housing association who shortlists people for the properties and he said that he'll have a look and tell us whether we've been successful by 5pm.

Will everyone please cross their fingers crossed for us and hope that it's good news? We really REALLY need this opportunity. Living with DH's parents isn't viable anymore and it's not doing my physical or mental health any good. We need our own space.

Please hope that it's good news.:o
