Smellies :D? Or a bunch of flowers/ pot plant? Or how about a nice candle? I'd apreciate any of the above being given to me as a gift :)

How about posh chocolates for the party hostess? They can be her treat when she's washed up all the glasses! I speak as a frequent party hostess and owner of many orchids brought by kind guests!

Two more UUs, ooh the sense of achievement!

Nivea pure invisible deodorant spray. It sells itself on 'no white marks'. Yeah, well spraying water under your arms wouldn't leave white marks on your clothes either and it would probably be as effective as this stuff! So you may have guessed already it's a WNBA.

Gillette shaving gel in avocado twist. Not sure they make it any more but if they did WBA. On to the poundland special!

Thanks for the suggestions girls. I will be heading off into town shortly so I will see what is on offer. The hostess is Halloween daft and has decorated her whole house and garden!!! So it should be a good night.

2 UU's last night. Nivea facial wipes which I really rate for my oily skin and WBA. Also my Skin Doctors blemish stick. I have another 2 in my stash but I don't feel they are working for me at all. My skin has been really bad all week and is really sore. So to help and in true PRSC style I have opened up my Elemis SOS Emergency Cream to try and heal my spotty and sore chin :(

slightly OT - but not really, cos it will involve me having a UU i hope - anyone know how to get fake blood and face paint off?? I put some on Red earlier for halloween fancy dress (not completely just for funzies, there was a reason!!) thinking that it would just wash off - but no....
so she and I are now covered in facepaint and fake blood.... shakmoii doenst cut it at all - help !!!!! (oh - and any fancy dress ideas for a horse greatfully recieved - the face paint was rubbish, and the zombifying her with toilet paper didnt work either!!)

here she is - having had half an hours argument about if she wanted to be tarted up or not... (i said yes, she said all sorts of things I cant possibly repeat as they arent ladylike at all....)

  • Red is so beautiful! Maybe painting a sort of skeleton design on her would be good? With some sort of white paint suitable for horses? I know nothing whatsoever about horses so I have no idea if that might work!

do the products that are on offer of the week tend to come up in the sales or are most of them sold out well before then?

I think it's hit and miss - last year there were tons of the Fearne, Gok & Strictly gifts left seemingly everywhere but relatively few of any of the others :(

How's your needlework? There's a few on here you could possibly recreate quite easily : http://www.thehorsetailor.com/beta/catalog.html

and there's some fab ideas here: http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=196329

or put her in a tutu and a blonde wig and say she's Sarah Jessica Parker :rotfl: (Sorry SJP Fans :p)

or could you fashion a pole out of cardboard and tin foil and attach it to her saddle - and she could go as a Carousel Pony? If you figure out how to get the face paints off you could paint her bright colours to go with it?

No idea how to get the face paints off though? A gentle face scrub? Shampoo? Good Luck :D

ETA: I got so caught up in Horse Costumes I forgot to put my UU's and IN's on :rotfl:

    UU's - finally!!:

50ml Boots Vitamin E Day Cream: WIBA? Yes probably - it wasn't greasy and din't leave a film on my skin. Smelt nice too. Now using one of the trial pots I got a while ago.
180ml S&G Clean Mary: WIBA? Sigh - if only I could :p Still have one large and two small in stock though ;)

    IN's:
Boots Cucmber Toner: I have none in stash and like this one -
Boots Cucumber Clay Face Mask: Actually bought for OH but I will use it so have declared it

I also bought a pack of Champneys wipes and a pack of No7 Wipes. All 4 items combined with a skinny and 2 ACM vouchers cost just over £4 :D
  • Well, here I am popping in to report so many ins I'll be on the naughty step for the rest of the month at least!!
Does anyone fancy joining me, I don't want to get bored on my own :rotfl:

First 2 ins from Avon: Mineral Fix basecoat and Rose Cuticle balm

Then: handbag sized L'Occitane handcream from Marie Clair magazine, Cocoa Flower variety, sounds nice!

Then, to finish off a day of excessive toiletry purchasing, the Liz Earle TSV from QVC. 9 more products to add to my supposedly shrinking stash!! I have wanted to try the LE skincare for a while so it seems sensible to try it out on TSV

Luckily I have had lots of UU so far this month so I might just be able to balance out all these ins.

Doesn't Red look lovely! I had no idea horses got dressed up for Halloween :rotfl: so can't help with costume ideas (although lol at SJP!) I was admiring her shiny hooves, she looks like she has had a horsey manicure
No more buying unnecessary toiletries 2018
    35 UU / 13 unnecessary ins

    Hello ladies,

Absinthe fairy - sorry about the job but what an utterly divine pair of shoes. Remind me of Dorothy's in the Wizard of Oz.

I had a quick trip to England, not really any time for shopping, but picked up the Boots catalogue so I know what to buy next time!

    INs:

LE samples of new tinted moisturiser
    Dove conditioner 50ml, magazine freebie
Lily of the Valley body lotion 100ml, courtesy of Mum who doesn't like it.
Aren't counting these as all free.

    Naughty INs:
Organic Source tea tree & peppermint shower gel (bought on a previous visit but no room in suitcase)
M&S lipgloss & nail varnish - one of their xmas sets, both lovely red glittery shades, buy one get one 1/2 price, so the second one will be used as a pressie.
4x75ml Sanctuary body lotions. Long story, won't bore you with it but after a long discussion with the S/A about the confusing shelf labels at Boots at the airport, I ended up with 4 but only paid for 2. I didn't notice until I was on the plane!

    Oh, and my GAs:

3x No7 Blissful Body Wash, 40ml, gone to another home as I didn't like them!

As for xmas presents: I always buy things through the year and store them in my special Christmas box. I love having in rummage in it and finding what nice things are there and it means I'm not stressed like the rest of my family when Christnas comes!

  • Thanks Becky.

Well we managed to squeeze the lorry down our very narrow road, think cars parked both sides and you even only have a few inches to spare with a car driving down the middle! No way I'm driving down our road when it snows...slightest skid and you've probably taken out half the road. Lol my boss we gutted when I told her this as I'm the only one that always braves the snow and only had to work from home once when the snow was half way up the drive gates last year.

Red looks beautiful...just been chased into the feed room by my sisters horse when I tried to put him to bed the sod...lol he just wouldnt go in the stable instead preferring to keep trying to bite me then turning on me when I tried to escape or my mum when she tried to put him in the stable For anyone who's never been bitten my a horse, its as bad if not worse than you imagine. Bet he chases me across the field when I let him out tomorrow too! My mums horse who would never do such a thing has a Christmasey outfit we used to put on him and walk him round the village after a ride on Christmas Day...the kids loved it. Hes moved fields now through and its impossible which is a shame.

Oh and I did have a UU lol through in my essential toiletries stash en-route to the house...my Simple cut open moisuriser decided to make a mess over the entire bag so chucked it out on arrival. Im now kinda toiletryless as was too tired to drive 25 miles back again tonight and all my stuff is at the new place. Phew pretty much packed now mind...here's hoping Im not too knackered to open the champgane tomorrow lol.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
