do the products that are on offer of the week tend to come up in the sales or are most of them sold out well before then?

They didn't really have much of a sale last year due to the bad weather. I think that the volume of shoppers was well below what they expected hence the fact that things have been trotted out on the shelves through the year. There have been some bargains through the year but not many and I think that they will find it the same this year. People are shopping much less now.
I have £57 odd worth of points on my card at the moment. I will be partaking in the Christmas evening to try and maximise my points because then I will be able to get other gifts for no outlay. Seems the most economical way for me to do it. Pehaps I will just save all of my points to go mad in the sales though? Depends how the Christmas shopping goes.
Have another extra night booked in next Tuesday (yay!) so I will be doing 6 in a row. I get paid next Friday so that will be 3 nights or 36 hours worth of extra. The following month I will get 24 hours worth. If I can fit another one in before 31st October, I'll have done 3 each month so far. That is effectively a weeks worth of over time  but I need about 45 nights extra  ! Oh well, 5 down, 40 to go!

    I <3 shoes and UGGs!!!

I have an IN from Easy Living mag - Next nail varnish - Metal. Not tried any Next NV so don't know if it will be any good.

Nothing else happening on the UU front.

Heading off to a very early Halloween Party (non-fancy dress) tomorrow night but not to sure what I could bring for the hostess. There is always tons of food on the go and she isn't a big drinker. I am stuck for an idea - any thoughts?

Smellies :D? Or a bunch of flowers/ pot plant? Or how about a nice candle? I'd apreciate any of the above being given to me as a gift :)

I take that back, managed to smuther myself in cold body lotion and its pretty much UU so a UU on the Next Diamonds shimmer body lotion. Nice fragrance, not too strong and an okay amount of glitter. WPBA.

seasideDreamer, hope the move goes well.

I had one UU this week, LE schampoo, this is a fantastic schampoo it makes my hair shiny and best of all it doesn't irritate my scalp. I have a new one my stash already.

Hope you all have a nice weekend.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

  • How about posh chocolates for the party hostess? They can be her treat when she's washed up all the glasses! I speak as a frequent party hostess and owner of many orchids brought by kind guests!

Two more UUs, ooh the sense of achievement!

Nivea pure invisible deodorant spray. It sells itself on 'no white marks'. Yeah, well spraying water under your arms wouldn't leave white marks on your clothes either and it would probably be as effective as this stuff! So you may have guessed already it's a WNBA.

Gillette shaving gel in avocado twist. Not sure they make it any more but if they did WBA. On to the poundland special!
  • 2 small UUs -Alpha H luminescence eye cream sample, probably wouldn't buy a full size it didn't seem to do much. Decleor Neroli oil, again a sample size, it lasted for ages. I've never quite worked out the purpose of this, smells nice enough but wouldn't buy a full size.
  • Morning everyone! No UUs today but I've opened my mini Body Shop Body Butter in Love Etc. Seems nice. My task for the weekend is to try once and for all to remove white paint from my black faux leather skirt. Don't know if I can but I love the skirt so want to try!

Afternoon everyone. Really painful today. :(

Have one UU from the other day to declare:

Clearasil Daily Clear Skin Perfecting Wash - WIBA? - I'm not sure. I don't really feel that it did anything for my skin, to be honest, despite me having oily and spot prone skin.
