Lady M - hope you are on the mend soon. Sarah - wish there was an easy way to get through things like that - but sitting it out is often the only way !! Fingers crossed that yoru brother can help out.

Hugs to Lady M - here's hoping everything settles down soonIs there somewhere to see the Ted Baker set for this year? Ive jsut googled and it has only got last years one (that I can find!) ??

Flirtini- hope you're okay xx
sarah- congrats:beer:I think she sounds insecure, but whatever it is, that is unbelievably rude:eek: you'd think she'd be too tired from the lack of sleep!
fiasco-glad to hear your mum is doing better
UU a sure cotton dry deodorant-WBA-have a couple more sure deos in the stash
I think I've almost finished the challenge:eek: well, once I have my lipbalm stash under control. My stash is not as small as I'd like it, but I'm okay with that, as it's all stuff I like and will enjoy using. I'll never have a tiny stash but thats because I stock up at the most MSE times, but this thread has made me think about how often I buy and stopping impulse buys. And its made a HUGE difference:j eg. I'd rather spend a bit more on BS butters(bought in the sale/glitches ofc:D) than buying a cheap one I'll use once and forget about. Also, PRCP, which means I can enjoy my stash without having to force myself to use up the moisturiser/shower gel etc.
I hate.
I've just realised that this is the first new years resolution that I've made an effort to stick to and haven't forgotten about after a week:rotfl:I will still be around on the thread because you're all so lovely and supportive, and helpfully post links to said BS glitches:D
phew! that was a long, rambly post:oToiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
Apologies for my lack of posting, due to birthday stuff and then holiday madness! But I'm back now, with quite a lot of OUTs:
UUs
Lush Ultrabland cleanser - WBA as it smells nice, removes make-up well and makes my skin soft and smooth. The only slight quibble I have is the price but I'm prepared to pay for something that works.
Charles Worthington Front Row Heat Defence Spritz - WBA as it's fairly well priced, makes my hair straight and smooth and smells nice
Given away
Rimmel Glam'Eyes Trio eyeshadow in Twilight Zone
Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish Fruities nail polish in Lemon Drop
Charlotte Island body tint
17 Fast Finish nail polish in Knockout Red
17 Lasting Fix nail polish in Pink Grapefruit
China Glaze Nail Lacquer in First Mate
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in Kate 01
So I've hit my target of 100 OUTs for the year so far, and it's only the 12thPlus I've added a few more things to my eBay/swap pile so I'll see what else I can get rid of before the end of the month...
ETA I do have a couple of INs as replacements though:
Lush 9 to 5 cleansing lotion
Tresemme Heat Defence Styling Spray"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
UU Rimmel 123 mascara WNBA I got this free from Rimmel. I could only use it on number 1 as so much got loaded on the brush it clumped my lashes together. Onto a Clinique High impact.0

Have some outs now as I sorted out the Christmas presents earlier. All of the FCUK red stuff is packed up for the boys. I've packed up the No7 freebie eyeshadow set (easter time?) a No7 mascara, 2 pairs of exfoliating gloves, a No7 gift from last year (the whole thing including dodgy blue eyeliner) and an almost complete No7 gift. None of the makeup in this one or the purse so have given her the eyeshadow and the full size mascara. Everyone also has 4 chocolate oranges
(mega glitch yesterday!).
Oh, I also found celebrate earlier. I can't remember where I "saw" her though. Ladies and ..... Ladies
I have an announcement to make - drum roll please *********
Yesterday I handed back my Avon book and DIDN'T PLACE AN ORDER :j :j :j :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Something's sinking in at last
Thanks for everyones hugs over the last few days - it means a lotThings are going from bad to worse with the SIL thing. She was sending me snotty messages over the weekend (!!!!!! - the woman JUST had a baby but she finds time to badmouth me!) so I've deleted them both from my 'friends' only to find she's been posting more messages badmouthing me on her FB wall. Woman needs to get a grip and start realising she's a mother of two not a child herself. I've had to email my brother asking for him to take control but I don't hold out much hope.
I know what you mean sarah. I feel a real sense of achievement when I hand the brocure back without an order and also now when I watch QVC and realise it's all blah blah blah rather than sitting there drooling over whatever is on screen.
Hope things with your family come to some resolution for you shortly. Life is just too short to spend energy on idiots don't you think? Take care.I double checked against the catalogue. The first OOTW is sold out - next one goes live on Friday
Anybody know what this week's OOTW is?
I received the samples of the Garnier BB cream yesterday and was very unimpressed. It felt like heavy liquid foundation so won't be buying a full size. I have also ordered some samples of a tinted moisturiser by Hourglass as it was recommended by a friend at work who had her samples with her yesterday. That felt very lush on the back of my hand however it's £40.00 a bottle. Think I'll stick with the LE one I have now considering that I'll probably only get to use the one tube and then any tan I get on holiday will be gone and I'll be back to wearing my Laura Geller on my pasty face.
Have repainted my fingernails and am wearing OPI Plugged in Plum.
Have a tin of Avon Cuticle Balm which is spluttering and should be gone today - only has smears of the product left in the tin now.
Have a good day everyone.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Who else has sorted through the boots catalogue and decided what they want to buy from the sales
? I like the look of the No7 hat box. (Can't remember what's in it but I like the box). I was tempted to look on ebay and some people are still selling the S&G hat box (the one that came out just before we started this challenge ). Lots of Fearne's hat boxes on there too. I'm surprised that people will try to sell them for that price when they weren't that popular last year! I didn't even rate it at £10 when the sale hit!
Sorry everyone's having such a rough time at the moment. Sarah, how awful to have a SiL like thatit's the baby that will miss out though in the long run. Yay for eeyore though
. And double yay for the handing back of the Avon catalogue without an order. I don't even look at them at the moment because I still don't need anything.
Went to bed late last night and forgot to take up the Christmas shopping I got last night. Hence I left one of the kids stocking fillers in clear sight. Darn! They'll have to have it as a known present now. I said it was for a friends little boy and DS started saying "But Mum, I've been asking for pictionary for ages!" It's a card game and was only £2.25 so I'll go back and get another for DS. That will be my friends little boy done though.
Ideas for a 1 year old girl please for gifts. I think I might have to just bow out and give cash because she's just had her birthday and she has a large spendy family. She's also a 2nd child so tons of toys and clothes already. I used to get really stressed out by the amount of stuff we were given. It didn't feel like a gift, just a headache. People just got focused on what they wanted to give rather than how much space we actually had. We were in a 2 bed flat with 2 littlies and no storage space. It was so stressful trying to figure out where to put stuff. It's easier now they're older because they are after smaller stuff and clothes. They always ask for clothes now (I think it's getting to the age where they know people expect an answer from them of what they want and don't want to be asked for cash and they can't think of anything else!).
I've got lots of stuff for me for Christmas. Not sure if it's all coming from DH or if I'll get some of it from his family. If they can't think of anything to get me, I'll get DH to bung it their way and get the cash back. There's £76 worth of stuff there. (Well it's all worth more- all sales stuff!). I know that I do that with my sister, if she sees anything she really wants in the run up to Christmas or that her DS wants, she knows to get it there and then and I'll give her the money back. No duff gifts that way!Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
