In any case, I bought myself some 'consolation shoes' :D

    Love the shoes! :T

    Rampant Recycler
I think fingerpaints, an A3 pad, table/floor cover and apron with sleeves would indeed be a cracking present for a 1 year old. I bought my great - niece some very nice wooden noise makers (can't really call them musical instruments). She enjoyed chomping on them when she was teething.

It's cutting things open time, so I should have some UU's soon. I have kitchen shears that make short work of jointing a chicken but they have found cutting open some of my toiletries containers a real challenge. Currently I have a Vaseline lotion cut open - boy, that was rigid plastic - and needless to say there was loads of lotion inside. I can still recycle the cut-open bottle and it's good to know that there is no product being wasted.

Sorry about the job Absinthe Fairy - the shoes look fab though. I'm lusting after a pair of these and am gonna treat myself in the US to them:

I've never liked the original UGGs but the new styles this year are yummy.

A UU to report - the Avon Cuticle Balm has gone. WNBA - I can't say that it did nothing for my cuticles but it was so greasy that it was not a pleasure to use. The :money: in me though made me persevere and not chuck it out. Have some OPI Avoplex to Go in my stash so that can go into my handbag today for when I'm bored at work again.

A pressie idea for a one year old is one of those tactile story books. My daughter used to love these.

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Morning all.

I'm jealous of all the shoes! I need to save up and buy a pretty pair soon - maybe after Christmas :)

    2 INS -
Sample of Liz Earles Skin Tint
    No7 Tinted Moisturiser

I'm looking for a good tinted moisturiser with SPF and I'm willing to pay good money for one, but I'd like to try it out first. I've got both of these off ebay for a fiver (inc P&P!) so I can test them and make see which I prefer, make sure the colour is right, see how it holds up during exercise etc. I'm sure its better to spend a fiver testing them rather than spending £10-20 on a full sized bottle, finding out its not what I want and then buying another one a couple of weeks later. That's how I'm justifying it to myself anyway :)

Going in the other direction, my Lush Herbalism is almost all gone, but I love it so I'll be re-purchasing again soon. One of my conditioners has begun to splutter, should be out within a week I'd imagine.

So generally going in the right direction.

    Enjoy the weekend everyone :)
In the end the journey's brought joys which outweigh the pain.

Hi Friend of Hobbits. Here is a link to the tinted moisturiser that has been recommended to me by a workmate. I've sent off for samples to try. Might be worth you applying for some.

Another UU since my shower this morning. My huge 500ml S&G Clean on Me has gone and I think this is the last thing to use up from the OOTW last year. Would definitely buy again because all in all it's a nice product. Lovely fragrance and brilliant packaging with the pump working down to the last drop. It's not that dear either when you consider how long it has lasted me. As someone else posted above I've been having a look at Boots.com to see which will be the best gift set to buy in the sales with this product in it!

Used up my Body Shop Satsuma Body Butter last night. WBA as it was moisturising and smelled lovely.

UU - 'Miracle' by body luxuries shower gel in warm vanilla - WIBA? Yes but I have no idea where it's from because it was from a FB swapsies :p Anyone any idea?? I can't remember who I swapped with now to ask either :o Shame on me! It smells lovely though ;D

I have a question about NV. I have a nails inc colour that seems to keep separating - it's only a couple months old, never opened. Is there anything I can do to stop it? Or should I email Nails Inc and moan? :p What's their CS like? It was part of a set of 10 and all the others are fine just this one that seems to go funny. Strange.
