Good luck Lady M, fingers crossed!

I unpacked the bathroom boxes yesterday, my stash is very depleted through BF has been hoarding shower gel and deodrant. I have loads of soap still and thats about it really. Will keep trying to use everything up through and looks like ive his to help out with too now. Luckily its my bday on Halloween and Ive asked for Lush things to replenish the stash:)

Thankyou everyone for your ideas, think i need to start thinking earlier next year - Ive completely lost my mojo for it. I bought some things in tesco Saturday and stuck them on her and on her fly rug - that was the best I could come up with at such short notice - I know its just for fun, but im a bit !!!!ed off that the girl who won it last year has just entered the same photo of her horse - is it me or is that a bit off?? I could just enter last years - but it seemed like such a cop out of effort that I didnt like to !!

(oh - and interestingly, she found it much worse me plaiting her up for those posher photos than she did having a spider sellotaped to her forehead - go figure!!)

Oh !! and today I had a UU - the Love etc body lotion from bs. WIBA? no - i dont think i would, ive gone off the smell somewhat !! and I have an out coming (or should that be going??!!) the green base that is to stop redness showing has gone via the facebook page - yay !!!

Ladies, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I've been invited to a uni friend's 30th birthday meal. Now, this guy was one of my best friends at uni, but we grew apart afterwards. I'm happy to go, but just not sure. The meal may be at the Roof Gardens, and most guests will probably carry on to a club after. I don't go to clubs, and if I'm honest, looking at the prices of the restaurant, it's a lot steeper than I would usually choose. Also, I wouldn't know what to wear, as I tend to live in jeans, and dress them up. I don't own/wear dresses. My other friend probably isn't going, so it would be maybe one or two friends I know well, and the rest would be strangers. That's definitely out of my usual comfort zone. I am trying to get out more to try to lessen my time at home remembering a certain somebody. So basically, what should I do? I'd really appreciate any kind of advice ladies


well I would go for it,you liked the guy at uni and know 2 others who are going and the strangers could be friends you have not met yet!It is good to splash out on a nice meal and new outfit if you can afford it and if you are not enjoying yourself you could always develop a headache and not go to the club!!!!

morning all ,up early as Dh had an early start,he brought the tea in bed and I thought the milk was off,he said no but each sip was nasty so I said def off,when he got up he checked the date and it was the 15th(sat) only thing is i bought it at the local shop on mon 17th:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:am so annoyed as now no milk for coffee:(
Also have a problem with groupon:(bought a fish pedicure on the 5th and had the email confirming but no follow up with coupon.I emailed and got an auto reply on the 17th and then a satisfaction email!!!so I emailed back and said not satisfied as still no coupon and also emailed again but still no coupon or proper reply:(:(...any ideas????

update on the groupon deal,I logged onto my account and on my orders was a file to open with the coupon!The other deals I ordered had the coupon emailed and on the confirmation email they said this was what would happen and they have not replied to my emails to tell me this!good job I logged in!!!!!...just hope my friend does not wimp out now(it is for 2)
also just checked a hotel we are staying in for DS3s degree graduation with late rooms,I booked at a cost of £89 but have just seen it on the hotels own site at £79.50!!!!so have cancelled and booked with them,so much for late rooms claiming to have saved me £100 on the hotels site:mad:
DS3 home tonight as going for a scan tomorrow check after last years cancer op so fingers crossed all is well(we will know next week but docs seemed posative last year)
