Good luck with the interview AF!
More UU's - I'm having a flying start to October!
Mitchum Roll-on Deodorant - WIBA? This is a holy grail product for me and one of the things I bought in my big stock up at the Boots shopping evening last year. Have now got a spray out for use at home, and a roll-on (the lat r/o in stash) for travel use.
Signal toothpaste - I don't really stash toothpastes nor am I brand loyal so this is just a random one for me. Have another in the drawer as I bought two for 99p the 99p store last time.
On sorting my travel bag out I discovered that I still have EIGHTEEN of those little single use Nivea Soft samples! OH DID do well in his collecting of those! :rotfl:

Good luck Absinthe Fairy. I do hope you are able to keep the friendship whatever the outcome of the interview, though that may be tricky.
A UU Not a particularly glam product, alas. A 100 ml Beauty Formulas Intensive Foot Cream with menthol and peppermint, 100 ml.
WIBA? Yes,definitely. I hesitate to say it's a HG product but it is fantastic value for money - around £1 in Savers and I've seen it in pound shops. The cream is rich, not runny, rubs in very well, softens well and has a strong, lasting menthol and peppermint scent.
I'm on with the Compeed Cracked Heel Cream (I don't have cracked heels, used as a preventative) which is a good cream but no better than the poundshop one. It's six times the price at £4.50 for 75 ml.
Another sort of UU. I poured the last of my Bush Essentials body wash into the handwash bottle - something like the tenth product that's gone in. WIBA? I so wanted to like this. The UK franchise is held by a lady who lives locally. I'm sure I used to do voluntary work with her son.
It was by far the most expensive single item body wash I've ever bought. And it was utter rubbish. I had to stop using the foaming dispenser as it slowly pumped out tiny amounts of foam. Poured in to a spare pump dispenser, around 30 ml was needed to generate a halfway decent lather. I used it a few times as a lemon based shampoo for my oily roots. It was quite good at this, because it generated virtually no lather it was easy to rinse out. But at £12 for 200ml it would be far too expensive for me to use as a shampoo. So now it's the most expensive ever hand wash. It didn't blend it particularly well - it was much runnier than the rest of the bottle. Lots of shaking needed to get it to mix. Good Luck AF!
In - L'Occitane cocao handcream free with MC mag - smells gorgeous!
In - Dove shower cream sample.
I am really gutted with the Tigi Superstar shampoo - I love it, love it, love it! But it doesnt love my scalp :-( I am itching like mad! I have got a bottle of TBS rainforest out and am hoping a couple of days and it will settle down. I had high hopes for the Tigi as it's SLS free, I can only think its the fragrance thats upset my scalp. I am thinking of trying Aveda Shampure.
A UU a sachet of head and shoulders shampoo for itchy scalp and conditioner, used these yesterday in a bid to try and calm my head down!0 -
:j I've just been on the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2, on Martin's Money Saving Spot! I'd emailed PRCP in but what they picked up on was the recipe for home made laundry gel - gloop. I got asked about that.
The interview process was really muddled, noisy and confusing - lots of voices cutting in - but I think I got my message across!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Thanks for all your good wishes guys! I had my interview this morning - not sure how it went, I managed to resist the urge to run screaming from the room, which is a good sign I guess.
I won't find out until next Thursday which is annoying! I'm sure the friendship won't be affected - we knew each other before the job and the application process is all above board. I'll be disappointed if I don't get it of course as will she if she doesn't but whoever doesn't get it will be pleased for the other. No Buying Toiletries 20130 -
Evening all,
Another 2 UUs:
Palmolive thermal spa bodywash - this has been spluttering for days, thankfully its gone now. Nice, but probably won't buy again.
Unidentifiable and extremely old red lush bath bomb - lovely, but I have no idea what it's called and I can't see it on the website so I probably won't be buying again
Hope everyone has a good weekendIn the end the journey's brought joys which outweigh the pain.
No buying toiletries in November: INs 1 OUTs 10. Total OUTs since October: 260 -
First report for October and it's an IN.
I took a look in Boots and manfully (womanfully?) resisted the 3 for 2 offers and the Christmas gift packs and then ended up buying some Bio Effect EGF serum for an eye-wateringly huge amount of money. On the upside it will, I am assured, get rid of the dark circles under my eyes or my money back.
One sputterer and that's my Clarins moisture rich body lotion. It's fantastic stuff but I have loads of body cream and lotion to get through before I can buy more.0 -
Oops. Have fallen off the wagon. Bought 2 Nivea sunscreens and a Neutragena moisturiser in Asda yesterday. All that for £7! Had to get the bargains. Especially as I travel a lot with work and try to protect my skin from the sun.
Otherwise, still working through the stash!Clothes challenge 2011 £254.08/£500!!!Toiletries challenge 2011 Trying!:j:T:j0 -
