Hi there
, I've been to Bath spa today. It was very nice but I did get bored after an hour and a half
. We then went shopping and I got a nice coat from Monsoon and a pair of jeans from Gap. Got some of the kids Christmas presents too. Then went to Bo*ts and took advantage of the red FCUK glitch. £9.80 spent on 12 items. Unfortunately I now realise that if I had done this in 1 transaction rather than 3 separate ones, I would have had even less to pay. Never mind, still bargainous prices for stocking up on Christmas gifts

Welcome Itzybitzy, it looks as if you are doing well already with toiletries, but this forum is a great way of being told about products that work, which ones to avoid - and to hear of free samples too. I do love my freebies....Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." I need to jump back in again. While i can't think of anything unneccesary i've bought in a long time i haven't been pampering myself enough to reduce my stash by much. I have however UU all of the conditioner :j it only took 2 years.
I've not long moved house so my stash is now in baskets in the airing cupboard and there's no room for any more. So, i need to UU some things to make room for the OOW's (especially the S&G) and other stuff i may get for Christmas (or may buy myself).
I'll go and write another list sometime today and then i can compare it to the last one and see what's changed.0 -
Morning all
2 INs from yday:
- 1 x Batiste Brunette Dry Shampoo. I needed the brunette one as had curled my hair day before and therefore couldn't brush it out so my normal cheapo white one was no good. I did go to Home Bargains to get it but they had noneso had to buy in Boots.
- 1 x Trevor Sorbie Beautiful Curls Cream travel size
Both paid for with my Boots points

Benefit Watts Up - its a beautiful highlighter. Probably not needed, but I think its very pretty and I deserve a treat
Fiasco - I hope your Mum gets better soon xx
Hi, I had a look at Watts Up in Boots the other day and may treat myself to a tube when I go away at the end of this month. How does it apply though? I have Pearl Meets Girl which I don't like the application of as it just seems to smear on without me being able to control where it goes IYSWIM.
Am just putting together my shopping list. So far I'll be getting Benefit Erase Paste and Badgal in plum as I love these two products.
I have a UU as well - bottle of Ojon conditioner. I have another one in the stash (unfortunately bigger than the one I have finished) and WNBA once this has gone. I like the results it gives but can't stand the smell which lingers around me all day after I've used it.
Also threw away a No7 lipstick that I found lurking at the bottom of my spare handbag as it had gone mushy.
Sending my love to you Fiasco - hope your Mum is soon home and on her way to a speedy recovery.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi all,
Hope your mum gets better soon Fiasco.
2 UU for me:
No7 Essential Moisture day cream WIBA? No I don't think so, it was very thick, too thick for my skin. Used the rest of it as an intensive hand cream at night with cotton gloves. Worked well for that.
Clinique mini long last glosswear in bamboo pink. WIBA? Possibly, its a nice gloss, and a lovely colour too.0 -
Thanks everyone for your well wishes - it must have helped because my mum is getting out of hospital. The doctor confirmed that she has not had a heart attack but arrhythmia (irregular heart beat). Also the good news is that it is only slightly abnormal too. My mum is so relieved as it can be well controlled with medication. I have brought her back to mine for the night to look after her a bit more. She will be given a heart monitor to wear for a few days to monitor her heart during "normal activities". It is such a relief.
I think the worry has sparked a stash UU rampage...
The Promise - Philosophy serum. WNBA - over priced and I didn't see any difference to my skin. I am now back to trusty P & P Beauty Serum.
Charles Worthington Results Dry Shampoo - WNBA. I found this useless. Had no effect on my hair and I will be sticking with Batise.
Korres Shower Gels x 2- Jasmine & Lemon. Got as gifts last Christmas and were nice to use. I would not buy them due to the cost but nice for a gift.No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
Fiasco, glad Mum's ok. Forgot to send best wishes yesterday and that's why I'm here today!
When she has the 24 or 48 hour tape done, it's to see what her heart does over a 24 hour period. It remotely records her heart rate and rhythm. If she gets any funny turns, she presses a button on the machine and it will mark the strip of paper when it's printed out.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
