sarah unfortunately my mum really lacks some social skills especially those relating to seeing when she's out of line or when she's been tactless. we walked around Boots and all i got was .... I don't need any more nail polishes, I don't need any more toiletries as if it was all about her and not about me only going in to get my mobile top up! hey ho we'll never change her.
most importantly congratulations auntie sarah, hope you do get to see the little baby.0 -
Congrats auntie Sarah!
Can anyone suggest anything for my chin, I'm suffering with a lot of blackheads there and it feels 'dirty'? I've always had oily/spot prone skin, it's calmed down a lot in few years, but I've never really had a problem with my chin area. I use a daily facial scrub but even that isn't helping.
I'm wondering whether a facial may help, if there is no other suggestion?

I just got my hair hightlighted by a hairdresser friend using a box of Nice 'n' Easy I acquired some time ago.
So that's one UU of a box of hair dye, but £25 to the hairdresser.
That's a win for decluttering, but a loss for the purse. :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'

Just echoing what Trudi said, you don't need any carp Sarah, it's sad about not seeing the little one, but giant Eeyores are :cool::cool: Just hope Big and Little Dog don't feel threatened and decide to take a chunk out of his hide....Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... No more UUs I'm afraid, still some spluttering along. It's amazing how long a tube can splutter for
Yes I agree, need to find time to pamper myself more to UU items!Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Had 6 blissful days off work, back to the daily routine today though!
Fiasco - glad to hear your Mum is improving
Have a UU here - Grace Cole foot lotion 70ml. Pleasant scent but too runny for my feet so used as a body lotion instead. WNBA.
And an IN - Essence silver crackle polish - just as good my Nails Inc one and at a fraction of the price.
Had a rummage in my stash and cannot believe how many shower gels I have. I won't need to buy any for 2 years I'm sure. But will I be able to resist that long?!

Used up a Dove deodrant but as this is one of my HG products I've still got a couple of cans in.
Dove shampoo and conditioner are spluttering- was trying these as part of a trial- not bad to use, leaves hair smooth and less frizzy but would probably only buy again if on offer.
Cut a bottle of Palmers shea bottle body lotion in half to get more out- sure this bottle has been on the go for about 2 years. Smells ok but quite runny.
No IN's to report.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500 -
Spent £92    in B**ts today! It's my Aunties birthday and as she raised me she gets the "Mum" presents. My sister couldn't get interflora to deliver to her office this year (not sure why but they won't deliver to her new office) so she asked about going in on mine with me as I'd not bought it yet. I was thinking along the lines of something shiny like a vase or jewellery but couldn't find anything suitable so phoned sis and said I'd get perfume. She like Estee Lauder beautiful so went to get that. If you buy 2 items of Estee Lauder, you get the free gift. So, we are giving her a 75ml bottle for today and a 30ml bottle with shower gel (or body lotion or something) alongside the free gift at Christmas. So it actually worked out at a very reasonable £23 per gift for Christmas and birthday and I got 400+ points for the pleasure of it being on my card! I'm not concerned about giving her 2 bottles of the stuff because it's her all time favourite perfume ever and she always asks for it if my Uncle is feeling flush. She ekes it out for as long as she possibly can too. Now she can bathe in the stuffDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0

I thought I was getting low on shower gels and bubble baths so was going to go shopping later - looked at my stash list and realised i've still got at least 10 to UU that i've just looked over because I don't fancy using themOops! So no shopping for me :rotfl:
