Flirtini I'm glad it went well. Hugest hugs yet again, we're all here for you whenever you need us *hugs*

Thank you to whoever suggested the Garnier 2 in 1 MUR. I tried it last night and it was really good. It took off my waterproof mascara relatively well. Especially in comparison to the L'Oreal one, which with holding and swiping, there was no evidence of mascara on the cotton wool, and it was definitely still on my lashes :o

Also, I'm impressed by the Maybelline One by One waterproof mascara. It hasn't clumped on my lashes or flaked :j

Thanks again for hugs! And yay!!! Glad I could help!! :j I tried the Garnier MUR on the basis of an online review and the fact it was cheaper - am so pleasantly surprised by it. Went back to using the loreal one while I'm back at my mums and it's so rubbish in comparison!

You mean the home-made face cream? Alas, there are no links: I bought a base cream from an essential oil farm, and added essential oils to it in a recipe concocted by Picklemum, who is an aromatherapist. It was tailored to my skin, so it would be different for everyone else.

Sorry that's not much help, but the cream was really, really good! :p

Hi everybody. Our broadband network has been down since Sunday and I've felt like my left arm was missing! Anyway back with you all now and have had a catch up of the thread.

I've picked up the Boots Xmas catalogue and Emma has already completed the shopping list inside it - have I created a monster? I don't think I'll be going for the S&G OOTW if it's the £60.00 box as I would probably only re-use a few of the products having tried them all from last year's kit.

Have three UUs since my last post and 1 IN. UUs first:-

TBS Aloe Vera cleanser - this is lovely stuff. My skin has been a lot clearer since using it (mind you I think cutting out the alcohol altogether, eating more healthily and exercising more will be contributing as well!). My only bug bear with it is the packaging. Have mentioned to the SA in my local TBS that it would be helpful if they put a pump on it. Am using the Superdrug C&P copy at the mo and am taking this away with me but think I will buy the TBS one again in future (have an Elemis one in my stash to use yet).

Elemis Nourishing Body Lotion - not sure about this. Has a lovely consistency and makes my skin silky soft but the fragrance is synthetic to me. Smells like baby powder. Maybe if it came in another kit I'd have it again. Have another in my stash which is going to be gifted to my sister at Christmas.

100ml tube of LE shower gel - this was the original one not the energizing one. WBA - this is still lovely stuff - the fragrance is so fresh. Not sure when I'll repurchase though as I do have some shower gels left in stash and will be buying from Bath and Body Works on hols.

My IN was a waterproof mascara from No 7 yesterday. Used the voucher so only paid £6.50 for it. I am amazed at the limited choice in waterproofs - aren't they popular anymore? Was going to use Emma's clear mascara on holiday but have tried it and my lashes don't look or feel like they have anything on them hence the waterproof purchase.

Think I'll be buying a tube of LE Sheer Skin Tint as well. Have called me local John Lewis to see if they stock it and if so will bob down there on Saturday. Am also having my eyebrows tinted on Saturday however it's a freebie as MrM''s cousin's daughter has started a beauty course and needs guinea pigs. :money:

My plane tickets arrived yesterday so feels like we are definitely on our way. 16 more sleeps.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Sarah - Ive lost the form that you sent me the questionaire on - please can you PM me the questions so I can answer?? (btw - I like it,but it doesnt cover hickeys well - does that count?? )

no UU today yet - but have red toe nails.

Thanks for the heads up on the Nails Inc stuff guys - never considered that they would give a sub-standard NV for a magazine promo, though I guess it makes sense that they might really !! Will see what my free one is like before I go and waste another £4 to get the other two colours I think !! I wish I was allowed to wear colours to work, now ive got halfway decent nails Id wear it quite a bit...

    Morning everyone

    One IN:
L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream Desert Rose 30ml

It was with the new Marie Claire magazine and couldn't resist!

    It smells amazing aswell.

Bought it really to cheer myself up as I fell badly on my knees taking the kids to school so I am nursing my bruises and grazes and have also had to bin a pair of Next trousers which have two ripped knees. Felt really foolish but at least I didn't break anything. Still hurts like hell though!:(:o:(

Will go back and catch up on the posts now. How many pages since the beginning of October?
