I have heard about those ice grippers but am unsure if they only work when there is a lot of snow and ice. Are they difficult to walk on?

I hear that there was flooding in the Gateshead Ikea last night. There may be some bargains....;)

Oh no! That's my Ikea :(

Was it bad Eenymeeny. I know so many places were hit with it last night. I was alright and oblivious until I saw it all on facebook. I'm on yon side of Durham though, I hear further North got it horribly.

I looked on the Ike@ website and it says that the cheap fleeces are not available at ANY of the stores I looked at.... looked at london, south and midlands.

There are hundreds of the white one (polarvide) in croydon for £ 2.89 which is quite nice, ready made holes and fringe.
They had the blue one in stock a few weeks ago as I got a couple so I'm sure they'll be back in stock soon.

Sorry Fuddle don't know the details but it was mentioned on the local news last night, along with the MetroCentre. The metro trains have been off and the Tyne Tunnel was flooded, including the new superduper side! but they soon got things moving again there. We had flooding in our street, it was scary how quickly it built up. Let's hope that we have a few dry days to give those poor people a chance to clear up.

I know that water was coming through the roof and customers were helping staff move carpets and furniture...

A friend lives near Coventry and his street got flooded by flash floods, he couldnt leave his house all day but luckily it didnt come into his home. Other ex colleagues in Hinckley had Hailstones as big as their palms, ones conservatory got completely smashed and lots and lots of their windscreens were smashed and cars dented apparently it looked like someone had gone on a rampage in carpark with a baseball bat!!! Its crazy to have that kind of weather in almost July!!!
