OOOH mardy - where does he live/ We spent a difficult year in ahem - Morningside - new baby/rocky marriage/post natal depression etc. I loved being in the mot cultural place in the UK even tho' I found it a bit difficult being a sassenach (dont come up here with your swanky ways and expect us to be impressed!) I got round it by having 2 redheads in a buggy and keeping quiet a lot!!debt free 2021 at current DMP rate (probably be in an old peoples home by then)0

Thats brilliant :j theres nothing worse than sitting freezing, feeling its colder indoors than outdoors!I am so happy - for the first time in 10 years my house is warm - with very little heat on - so must have eventually got the heat retaining thing going. Last year I got house insulated and it did make a difference - this year I have bubble wrapped all my windows / doors / cracks in floorboards etc and I have two sets of lined curtains on all the windows - thanks to chari ty shops buys,I am over the moon with how cosy my house is - last year I was crying some days I was so cold. I know so far this winter we have not had the really low temps that we had last year but I just know it's warmer - there is no chill factor in the house now. Stay warm everyone.1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31

mardy- yes Morningside does think its posh (all furcoat and no knickers was what they used to say!) mind Leith was getting its share of gentrification I seem to remember but it was a long time ago. I did one day supply teacing in a Leith school and it was run like a military college but probably had to be!debt free 2021 at current DMP rate (probably be in an old peoples home by then)0

It has not got above two degrees here today. It was bitterly cold this morning when I put the boys out in the field and walking the dogs it was chilly as well. It hammered it down with sleet at one point just after 1.30pm when I was doing their water in the stables. By the time 2.30pm loomed into view both of them were standing at the gate with Purzel (who is the biggest at 18h/h) shouting he wanted to come in ( he whinnies in a way that I know what he is asking of me - a couple of years of him training me in the language of the horse I suspect
).
Anyway, they are tucked up in their stables tonight. We have got the heating on and the log burner on as well. Out to a 50th birthday party tonight - otherwise we wouldn't have ventured out of the front if we didn't have to!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money
