i am in the north east of england and i have several ltd companies and 1 of these i have a Mayfair London address which is a correspondant address only.

when you set up a ltd company you have a choise to chose one of these, if your business is in another country link one and one AG (their true name) and want to become reg in the Uk you must list a UK address

It's an office block that happens to have several occupants.

You'll be telling me next that Xerox UK Ltd, another occupant, is not based in the UK either. ;)

Anyway, getting a bit off topic now.

    Xerox Corporation
    45 Glover Avenue
    Norwalk, CT 06856-4505
    Phone: 800-ASK-XEROX (1-800-275-9376)

Xerox is an American corporation with worldwide offices. the UK address is a virtual address as their main UK/ireland offices are

    Xerox Ireland Limited
    Ballycoollin Business Park
    Blanchardstown
    Xerox Head-Office
    Sales: 1850 265 000

learn how setting up a ltd company you can order a virtual office.
  • 1and1 it's a fraud, they took me the first time for £60, after sending me to collections for an invoiced that was paid off and a hosting service that was cancelled. Again, last week after a yr with another domain wich I cancelled on time they send me to Arvato collections threatening me of an unpaid Invoice, but 1and1 did not count on me having proof of paying them which I have on my records.
Now, not only I will report 1and1 and Arvato for both working in conjuction to wrongly charged me, but I will go after my £60 back!
If you had similar situation please advice me.
I will post back the results, so everyone that had their money stolen by 1and1 and Arvato can get their money back.....

I have a similar issue with these idiots. I followed their cancellation procedure as advised by them. I emailed them first saying I wanted to cancel and they said I must log in to my control panel and cancel that way. Fair enough, there was over a month before the renewal was due so I followed their procedure. I was amazed when they wrote to me saying they couldn't get the money via the DD....before the contract was due and despite the fact I had cancelled. Luckily I cancelled the DD at the same time. They claimed I had started the procedure but I didn't click a link in a confirmation e-mail. This was complete rubbish but to make sure I did it all again and I clicked the link again. They never send you a confirmation e-mail so how do you know if it has worked or not? It just seems an easy way to deny responsibility and get the money.

I wrote again and they said I had to pay because they had already raised the invoice...early I hasten to add! I cancelled TWICE within the allowed period and they still expect me to pay just because they raised the invoice early... yeah right!

I am so glad I cancelled the DD at the same time as I cancelled the 1 & 1 account or these parasites would be taking my money!!
