Noooo! Do not waver, sophierose, there's not much reading needed for you to see clearly that this is a scam.

There was no 'feud' only Ryman999* coming on the thread. Guess who he works for - yes a private parking company. Guess why he comes on here - because he HATES this forum and other similar forums, because we correctly tell people to ignore his scumbag industry and their sorry little 'fake PCN scam'.

Ignore his posts (see the sort of person he is below) and read all the other answers you got instead!

And then watch the Watchdog clip on the sticky 'welcome, please read before posting' by Crabman (stickies are permanent threads at the top). And look at the letters you will receive ('PPC letters, what to expect'). Top of the forum, look for the two threads I mentioned:

Bottom line? You pay this and you have been had. You reply to them and you have been taken in. Please read the links and stickies and watch the Watchdog solicitor, do not be a sad victim of a scam akin to a phishing email. You do not have to name the driver, this isn't the Police you are dealing with you know, it's a PPC parasite and their pathetic intimidating protection racket.

You will NOT be taken to Court and no-one will come knocking. There will be debt collector letters, yes, no big deal when you are expecting each one and can predict them! There will be no bailiffs, there will not be a CCJ and there will be no effect on your credit rating at all. Many of us are here because we had a fake PCN as well. Mine was 3 years ago and I still keep the debt collector letters in my handbag to show friends & colleagues so they learn about this con-trick. Nothing happened and the letters were exactly as shown in the top thread.

Ignore Ryman999 and ignore any pm he may send you (under any name).

My advice grow a pair FAST, you did not leave the bullies behind at the school gates, they are just as many in the big bad world and like all bullies, thugs and thieves they wont stop demanding your money until you stand up to them.

You have half a dozen or so posters (some with hundreds of posts on this subject) telling you that you should ignore all the letters as they are idle threats.

The only posts against ignoring the letters are all from one person, someone with very few posts and all on this thread. The fact that this person is known to be heavily involved in the private parking industry, something they are admitting, means they have extremely vested interests in you falling for the threats.

Read the number of posts on this thread and the whole sub forum and you'll find well over 99% of them will say the best thing is to ignore the letters.

Not sure if we need to get an NPO in the future, the legal argument we submitted in Milton Keynes a few weeks ago was convincing enough for us to get judgement (this one is on our website ... combinedparkingsolutions.com/gapara.html )

Think I'm going to have to find a carpark where combined parking solutions prowl and park that van then, as if you do invoice me, for non display of a BB I ignore you and you go to court it's GOTCHA time, for failure to make a reasonable adjustment, under the Equalities Act 2010, and Schedule 4 won't help you, as it isn't even law yet. Plus the negative press when i contact the tabloids will cause you a tingling sensation on your rhinocerous hide.
