LOL, what makes you think that?
I wish I had tickets for August Rush, that sounds much better, but my usual cinemas didn't offer tix!Reclaimed thanks to this site:

C'mon people, what's wrong with ya?
The Darjeeling Limited was brilliant: Funny, heart-warming, beautiful and in some ways inspirational and much more.
Maybe people should find out a bit about a film before going bonkers when they get a seefilmfirst code.0 -
The Darjeeling Limited....
well watching it I was disappointed....then thought about it and I liked it actually.
The problem, for me anyway, was the expectation. Didn't see much advertisement about it but still I got the feeling that this was just a simple light silly comedy.
So with this idea in mind, it was a bit of a shock first. Had to reset my ideas to 'this is not one of those hilarious movies', and in the end liked the genre décalé.
Some kind of misleading advertisement that is going to backfired?
(Or maybe just us making wrong assumption)0 -
I will delete later
Those of you's who missed out on tickets for ps I love you try the code again as I have just getting tickets which I could not get yesterday0 -

Thanks very much, blondie7, I managed to get tix now, was so surprised!
I do agree to a certain degree with Adam in that we probably would not go and see some of those films if we had to pay for them and thought long and hard whether we are really that interested. Yet sometimes the info on films can be misleading, you think you are in for a comedy, and you get a film that just confuses you. At the end of the day, we provide valuable feedback on those films to the companies, and we should be encouraged to say what we think about a film, whether good or bad.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Big thanks from me too Blonde7, ive managed to get tickets for PS I LOVE YOU, saw the trailer last night before Darjeeling and it looks good.
I went to see Darjeeling and i really enjoyed it, slow, chilled, with a gentle humour. I loved the 3 brothers and their relationship. India was just gorgeous and I loved the unstereotypical role of the indian waitress. I'd definetly recommend it.
PS. My friend didn't enjoy it but that's tough - I got the free preview tickets and it's up to her if she comes along or not to the next one!0 -
Yeah, thanks Blondie!0

Darjeeling will have a very select appeal.
I think if you know Wes Andersons stuff it was as expected.
I still cannot make up my mind if I cared enough about the brothers to appreciate their journey...
Apparently, the minimovie at the beginning was never intended to be shown before the film, it was supposed to have been circulated around the web viral style to give a bit of background to the youngest brother. Wonderful notion blending different medium, but I don't think we're quite there yet with the web.
As other have said, visuals were stunning, India is now on my to do list. Have to mention the awesome soundtrack as well.Sometimes you get what you deserve... :cool2:0
