Well, show-offs, I have tickets for:
Brighton, Epsom, Greenwich, Kingston, Manchester, Swiss Cottage, Wimbledon

No need to PM me and beg :D

Dr Babz, I don't mean to be impertinent but why do u have all those tickets - otherwise you are depriving other people ;-(
you know when you're getting older - the wife says, "let's go upstairs and make love" and you reply, "I can't do both" !!
  • even though you've made a good point, christopher_h i must remind you to look back at post #1 for the link to the discussion thread. Same applies to Babz and all of us.

  • Now you may call me a misery, but, having read the posts on the ticket site, I can see how you might have one set of tickets unwanted but why on earth are people applying for the same film at 7 different cinemas?
Tickets tend to be in short supply, so isn't this taking (and presumably not using) tickets that should go to others.
This doesn't affect me personally, as living in Dundee we get very few previews here anyway, but it does not seem fair for the people that can't even get one ticket.

Poor Dr.Babz! If you read the post properly, you will realise that he/she was merely giving the code for preview screenings at those places, they'd probably received an email with the code and was merely passing it on!!

I can see how on first reading the post you may think he/she had tickets for all those cinema's, it was just the way it was written, but all they were doing was referring to previous posts where people had offered tickets to 'first to pm me' and Dr.Babz was saying you didn't have to do that.......

''No need to PM me and beg :D

"To get tickets go to www.seefilmfirst.com and enter code: 416088"

If you read the post properly, you will see it was a genuine code posting!

If I was Dr.Babz and had helpfully and kindly bothered to pass the code on and then had whingeing messages written about me because people hadn't read my post properly, I wouldn't bother posting anymore.

While I'm at it, thanks to Dr.Babz and all those that do post, I for one am really grateful and appreciative of the effort you go to

To be honest, I just came from a screening of The Darjeeling Ltd, and it wasn't all that great. In fact, I thought it was quite boring. It got a few laughs just for the sheer absurdity of some scenes, but that was it. It was an hour shorter than American Gangster but felt twice as long. I kept hanging on because I thought it might get better but it didn't. Keep your eyes peeled for 2 sightings of Bill Murray with no purpose whatsoever.
