Tesco Clubcard - Who has the most points for their Feb statement?

It depends on how many you anticipate totting up in the rest of the year? ... All last year we only accrued about £1200 in deals ... but in the period since August we have already surpassed that ....
We save a bundle for our summer hols .. but likely by the time the next statement comes around in May we'll have plenty to 'spend' on extra's ...
We are hoping to go back to Longleat this year as our youngest son was only a baby and would simply love to see monkeys ripping bits off expensive 4x4's .... :rotfl:miss_bargainmad wrote:I really don't know whether to save mine up for something major, like a trip to New York next year, or just use them for weekend breaks on top of our holidays ever year. I really am spoilt for choice.
At Easter we are using them for a 2 night stay at the 5* Marriott County Hall - it is costing an obscene (even with Clubcard vouchers) £500! But we would never ever spend that kind of money on a hotel so it will be great, as its all for free. Even managed to get a £50 voucher to use whilst we are there from the Citibank deal (spend £500 before 25/12/06 and get a £50 voucher of your choice).
I'll still be moaning about the price of everything when I'm there even though it is technically a freebie!! I'm never happy.
Going to use more vouchers whilst we are there for Tower of London, London Dungeon and Chez Gerrard in Covent Garden.
Although I have just looked on the XL.com website and could have got 4 flights for what I am spending on the above.
What does everyone else think - is it best to save for something major or use them for "treats" every 3 months?LittleBill ... "The riches of a man can be measured by what he can do without"0 -

My total was 9180 for this quarter and i cant believe I managed that amount.
I've been reading all through the forums on how to build up my points and have learnt so much from everyone here. I would love to double it next quarter as hubby desperately wants to go skiing again, and I've already booked Turkey for August so cant do both.
Thank you to WELSHY have read all (her?) posts and I think I understand about the H&B things now, my tesco have NO H&B leaflets so bought some from ebay!!!
Heres looking forward to the next quarter

The free paper often will come with loads of leaflets and these often have coupons amongst them.
At events you will often find manufacturers with a stall or van and they often have coupons, so be polite and cheeky (always with a smile) and ask for a few more.
And finally dont be embarassed, The best of us can save over £1000 using coupons, theres nothing to be embarassed about that. I would be proud.;)
Hi halojones
How exactly do you use coupons I thought you can only use them if you purchase the products?
Also how do you manage to use so many at a time? and are they the same?
Sorry about all the questions only I throw so many coupons out that expire, thinking I can't use them or I know I'm not going to actually the purchase the item on the coupons (sorry I know you really didn't want to read that!!!)
Your advice would be greatly appreciated:D
Thankyou

well i ended up with just over £53. so thats £212 in deals ...with the £60 left from las time thats £272 to spend on my oven in mfi to go with the fridge freezer and halogen hob that is being delivered tomorrow
even though its not a huge amount compared to other peeps......this is excellent as its got us stuff that we desperately needed.. but no way could afford unless we put it on the credit card...
i have not gone out of my way to spend more money in tescos.... but have made good use of the h&b vouchers..:D
and had the odd womble...:D
now that mfi are finishing....i honestly dont know what to spend on clubcard points on... as if you have the days out or the holidays..... it still means spending our own money.... on food ...petrol..... etc... which i cant afford....
so maybe it will be the goldsmiths one...... and the kids can have a load of 'bling' for christmas lol....
before i came acrross this site last year i would be lucky to have about £5. a quarter...as i would allways forget clubcard go to asda... or just couldnt see the value in the points vouchers that they sent you.. so thanks peeps... as you lot have helped me not spend roughly £800 on my credit card:T :T :T :T :T :TWork to live= not live to work0 -
Last Jan I discovered the joys of Tescos and their points, swapped to a Tesco Credit card and started collecting points etc like they are out of fashion.
Last year paid for by Tescos we furnished 3 bedrooms, office, cloakroom. We also bought 3 new beds. Next Tuesday my new Cooker, extractor, microwave and incredibally indulgent, and probably never going to be used more than once, built in coffee/expresso machine cost about £700 on its own.
Still waiting to hear if its on the beach in Devon.
I am so excited.
Still have £900 converted from Dec and am expecting approx £575 this quater so thats £2000k plus. Got my eye on some leather sofas.
This will be last lot of stuff from MFI so will start saving for kids driving lessons, and some very indulgent stuff from Goldsmiths.CUT OFF DATE FOR XMAS 2008 1st NOVPB £17.87, Ipoints 3907, QUIDCO £217.94,SHOP&SCAN 1950, LITESPEED 1265,PINECONE £8,BOOTS £18.62, IPSOS 1190, VALUED OPINIONS £19.25,MISC SURVEYS CLICK THROUGH ACCS ETC £23,0 -
I finished up with 31360 so I can pay for the MFI bathroom in full and have some left over
Alot of credit for my points total must go to the lovely people at paid to shop. http://www.paidtoshop.co.uk/forum/index.phpThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
