tightperson wrote:Well done coupon-mad. We've just booked a 3 week Siblu holiday to the South of France in the summer hols which we are looking forward to.I love Tesco.
If you get a chance, tightperson, could you pm me with any tips? Or anyone else who has used Tesco Deals for Holidays, flights or Airmiles before?
My OH took one look at the Holiday Deals online and snorted that they were too expensive! I did explain about the deals vouchers covering most of it but his eyes began to glaze over.....as men do when women tell them stuff!
But we have a good few hundred quid of unconverted vouchers (I will have to check how much) and I wondered about Siblu. We are a family of 6 looking for a family holiday in Europe. Haven't got the brochures yet, should I just go and get Siblu/Cosmos brochures from the travel agent, choose a holiday then phone up for a Deals price, then phone again for a non-Deals price as a comparison?
Any info would be gratefully received as we've told the kids we're going abroad this year for the first time, we've got the passports and are raring to go!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Although we aim to amass points, it's sensible to keep an eye on how much these points are costing. I aim to keep my Tesco spend points-neutral ie deals value = cash spent in store. Was on track for this until xmas, since then I have fallen back to 70.5p back (deals) per 100p spent.0 -
I've got 291 points though the last two visits to Tesco I have had 5 green points when on both visits I used two carriers.
I did today find someone had left a till spit in my trolley worth 50 points, though I don't think its worth it.

Is there a thread dedicated to products which give you a profit in points?
If not, should there be do you think?
I'd need a few day's notice to give me time to buy a new freezer you see..........:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
I started collecting (madly) after the beef in gravy, sooooo wish I had done it, that would of gone down a treat, or not for some of you. Tesco's probably did that as when they ordered from the manafacturer the person added to many 000000 on the amount he should of ordered, hence the deal :rotfl:0

Cut off date is the 28th January. This was confirmed by the Tesco clubcard person I talked to yesterday about something else.If I had known then what I know now . . .

I'm only upto 4616 so far this quarter, now where near some of you on here but fantastic compared to what I used to get (about 600 a quarter
). I'm doing the points collecting on minimum spend so no wine lake for me. I've found some H&B leaflets so will be able to boost the total up a bit with the extra 50 pointers
Like Coupon-Mad I'm also saving for a holiday, UK or overseas, and wondered what the best deals were?
Well done everybody else on their fantastic points totals. :TCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -
I have just worked out I need 1500 more points before 28th, was going to do an online shop but cannot see any codes, will have to see if there is any instore promo's, hope I can do it0

I've got 5114 this quarter which i'm pleased with. Only need to get another 19700 before November so I can use them to pay for a few days in New York for me and hubbie for his 40th. Just got to hope Tescos keep the voucher codes coming.0
