Problem with Ebay Seller

The correct advice has already been given. Attempt to get the seller to cooperate, or start a case.
You are spot on, it was you going off topic, now you object to anyone replying.
I've never come across a small child trying to start an argument. I did come across your post having a pop at Hammyman. Many of us have seen his account, freely given on this forum. While not agreeing with him, I accept he has a point of view. He's sold thousands of items, receiving great feedback. You have no right to "feel mad" as you are not a customer of his.
Those of us who make a living selling on ebay can see the seller's point of view, even if it's wrong. Rather than those who simply have theories about how business works, and slavishly believe that ebay are always right.0 -

And from looking at that account, it's very clear he never practices what he preaches though.
If he did do as he always advises others, he would be riddled with negatives, low stars, or just kicked off ebay by now.
So it's not surprising when his "keyboard warrior" antics are brought to task, it's not helpful, and there's a chance a newbie could take him seriously.0 -
Paypal release the money on day 21 if no feedback is left, i actually got feedback 2 days after day 21 on one occasion.
The whole point of a hold is safety for buyer and seller, the buyer has paid, the seller can see the funds on there transaction page, it simply has a hold on it. this is prob the first high value item the seller has sold, i can now sell high value no prob at all, but as my previous post when i first sold a couple of things the hold was there.
I had an item put on hold a few weeks ago. Many of my sales are high value. It makes no sense.
And Paypal releasing the money on day 21 is of absolutely no use to me. Its money that I don't have to buy more stock at the next auction to make a living out of. £260 could stop me buying between 2 and 8 laptops, stopping me making £500 or more and therefore Paypal would be effectively robbing me of £500 of income. Would you be happy about losing a weeks wage just because Paypal decided to put a payment on hold for no reason?0 -
Hammy - look up "escrow" on Wikipedia. It's an involuntary version, but it's basically the same thing.
And since you're in business, I'm wondering whether you've ever heard the term "30 days credit"...
My business customers get 30 days credit but that is at my discretion. I don't do ESCROW and I don't do credit on laptop sales.0 -
I would just send it and ask the buyer to leave feedback asap.
If the transaction goes bad I will probably end up refunding anyway.
In short they money is in your account, just the transaction needs to go well before you get your hands on it.
So in this case for £260 worth I would send it special delivery to which they money could be released tomorrow.
In short if you don't like the rules don't sell on ebay.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

I know that, just people saying see it form the sellers point of view, as a seller thats mine.
I do agree if they don't send go down the INR and get your refund and don't agree to any cancellations.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Why not leave the seller feedback now to release the funds, you could even word the FB in that manner so not to predjuce yourself in the event you need to make a claim.0

"Goods not received, feedback left as very seller won't ship otherwise. Do not buy from them"
That sort of thing maybe.0 -
