Yeah I have a billion books to take to car boot as putting them on ebay wont make anything once P&P is done, no we need nicer weather that is for sure! Currently sat on the 10th floor in the city and you should hear the wind! I can see the glass on the building next door wobble with the strain!
Hahaha! It was exactly the same at mine, we dont have double glazing so it was so loud! When I walked down the street this morning there was all sorts of rubbish everywhere!!
I think my MSE ways may finally be rubbing off on my flatmate, last night she sat and put loads of CDS on music magpie and sent her phones to mazuma making £80, I think she overspent over xmas as the amount of new clothes she bought was large! Still, if I help anyone to become MSE I'm happy!
I am not sleeping fab (going to bed about 7.30am. Up at 3am LOL)....Glad you're MSE ways are rubbing off on your FM :T...
Family still doing my head in (think I wrote about it on Miggy's thread)...why does my life revolve around my Ma even though I'm nowhere near her? I mean DS doesn't have to text every day  or even phone and she doesn't get rudely awoken by one of Ma's panics . I don't have cursing, child like, door slamming tantrums and Ma panics? Is there a lesson in that? Probably...
Argh!!! I know I am closer to Ma than DS (she just lives in fear of DS) but still....it's a hassle...I mean here I am - up at 4.30am - wanting to go back to bed but not sure what time I'll be up and living in fear of Ma's agitated voice mail if I even switch off the phone so I can sleep....
Can you believe it - even though I was 10 mins late home when I got back from the holidays (cos I went to Mr S for milk) she'd phoned twice panicking .....She knew I was past the major delays. What can possibly happen to me between the train station and like my house when I'm perfectly capable of looking after myself?
Or is it cos I have a hidden disability I can't even be relied to get myself home from the station

Morning gang!
Up and ready for work, we're going in a bit later so just procrastinating before going to the tube - where no doubt I'll discover "engineering works" hmmm!!
Just occurred to me that the canteen wont be open today - DUH! So it means lunch will be spendy, I had already planned to spend on a mini bottle of wine tonight so a spendy day anyway but wish Id planned ahead and got some bread in for sarnies. Will make it as cheap as possible
More watchers on ebay still no bids! They all finish Tuesday night I think so at least then I'll know if I can plan to have extra cash till payday.Santander 0% £1,529.94

She would forget though LG in all honesty.....
I quite like texting her when I want to....But she doesn't know how to put her phone on silent etc etc.
I told her loads of times before I came home that I would go straight to Mr. S when I got home for milk....she still panicked cos I was 10 mins late...I think I had two phone calls in that 10 mins
I was not happy. Fair doos she always apologises but then still does it 6 weeks later. And I'm only just over her last panic at that point (or not)....I mean 2 years ago she was so convinced I got up at 6 EVERY am (even weekends) that the one day I decide to have a lie in I get the police at my door @ 8am...Lovely....
Yeah I'm traumatised....the therapist says I'll deal with it if it happens and it may not happen. Fact is these days it happens so often I know it will...and I can't deal with it..
And I'm grumpy from not eating properly yesterday and I have back pain from my cycle ride. Now Ma is a vulnerable woman who can't even hang up on spam callers. But not me......
But it seems how she and DS is I must be also? Argh!!!

Hi gang,
Yesterday was way too spendy, all my MSE ways just went out the window. To be fair if I was on my normal budget without the bills stuff up it wouldn't have been a problem but I've left myself even shorter on cash now for the month.
Yesterday I spent:
£3.41 on breakfast, OJ and a snack.
£11 on lunch at wagamama
£26 taxi on way home from night out
I hadn't planned to go out last night hence why I let myself buy a more expensive lunch when Waga's was suggested. Then en route home I got a text off a friend who had v good reason to celebrate and I just thought "stuff it you only live once" and off I went. I knew the actual night wouldn't cost anything so at least I didn't completely go off the rails but when 4:30am came and I needed to get home from my friends house I used my card to order a cab.
I need to do some sums but I reckon I have approx £30 for the rest of the month. Bu**er. At least I have food for the month and nothing else spendy planned so any more nights out are strictly forbidden.
Maybe I'm not completely cured of my socialite ways?
URGH
Feeling really poo today now. I wish Id been sensible then I would have not spent and felt well enough to go to work again instead I'm even more skint and wasted a whole day.
I have a bidder for 99p on one ebay item I hope the others pick up over the next 2 days as I really really need it now.
Next month I was due to go to the dentist which costs about £70 so I'm going to move that to after the payday with the bonus - I know this is a lot but the dentist is a close friend and he charges me for appointments but does everything free, fillings, whitening etc and I didn't use to go to the dentist ever as I was too nervous and he specialises in nervous patients so I trust him and at least I go! Hes out of London so that £70 incs travel.
Next month I'll be making the first transfer to savings so at least I have a buffer building up and when the bonus comes I'll definitely be adding £200 for an emergency float.
16 Days till payday. That's about £2 a day on average

Right, putting that post above behind me. Can easily do this month on £30 as I proved last month!
Had a nice relaxing day at home on the sofa, feel a lot more ready to tackle the challenges ahead at work too. If I moan too much remind me I love my job and I'm lucky to have one please!
MSE ways defo not running off on flatmate...
FM1 is very into her F1, when it was announced last year that sky were taking half of the coverage or something like that she wasn't happy! lol I'm not a huge fan but can sit and watch it if needs be. When this happened she started talking about us getting sky. FM2 seemed up for it and he is into watching sports but probably isn't bothered either way he is very laid back which I like. At the time I made it clear that they could get it if they liked but I didn't want or need sky so I didn't want to increase my bills by having it, so to bear in mind I wouldn't contribute more than I do now. She ummed and ahhed and when I explained a lot of the costs behind sky it hasn't been mentioned since.
But tonight I noticed her looking into it again. My thoughts are exactly the same on it, if she wants sky she can have it but she can pay for it, if FM2 wants to pay that is his choice too - do you guys agree? Even though it is the shared TV in our lounge?
I hate these trivial sharing dramas, Id rather be laid back and not care but these days when things involve money I care a lot more. Sometimes I get the feeling where money is concerned I look petty but I can't really help that. I like my new MSE ways (when they work!) I like it when I realise how much I've changed with regards to money, I used to be SO wasteful. I used to do a huge supermarket shop with loads of fresh fruit and veg but the next day buy something I fancy more for dinner and so much would be thrown out. I'd go for meals out maybe 2 or 3 times a week without batting an eyelid. I would getting taxis home from nights out without worrying the next day. At least know when I do these things I know immediatley how that has affected my budget and I wont overspend elsewhere whereas before it would just go on the credit card. I used to wonder how I came to owe so much but now I know exactly how and it becomes clearer and clearer as time goes on.
At least I feel bad for wasting money as I did yesterday and that was "only" £40, before, I would waste hundreds without realising what I was doing to myself.
Sending an email round the local rugby team to offer the signed Harlequins shirt to them for £60 (Id accept £50) if nothing comes from that I will pop on ebay this week. £60 would come in very handy to make that card over payment that definitely wont happen this month otherwise!!
It's a continuous learning curve isn't it????Santander 0% £1,529.94

Why doesn't she just go to the pub? The amount of money she'll save, compared with the number of times it'll actually be on Sky, she can spend on getting obliterated..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
