Hi all!!
Sorry for the belated xmas greetings, I had hoped to get on before now! Hope you are all well and had a lovely xmas day!!
I had a lovely one, arrived home xmas eve morning, to a screaming niece so promptly disapeared to do some wrappinf then ran to my goddaughters house to deliver their presents which was nice, then spent the evening catching up with mates. Managed to have a NSD!
Christmas day was nice, My niece had a mountain of presents, I had a smaller molehill but they were lovely, books, smellies etc. Everyone seemed to like presents I gave which was nice. Lunch was yum and had a nice sleep in the afternoon, friends came over in the evening but I was unsociable and watched Downton! lol Another NSD and I got £80 in cash present and a £20 gift card so will have a think about what I want to spend it all on.
Boxing day - Saw my Dads side of the family in the am then drove back to London with the folks. Took them for a nice walk and we had a lovely meal out. Another NSD
They left quite early yesterday so I went for a run in the am and finished at Mr S where I bought the ingredients for TurboJets lamb curry recipe. Cooked that - DELICOUS! Thanks TJ! And have plenty saved for army boys arrival - only 2 more sleeps!!!! Spent the rest of the day snoozing and tidying.
Back at work today which is quite nice actually, boss just shouted us lunch at a noodle soup place which is yum but blooming messy to eat!! So today should be a NSD but spent £15 yesterday so only £5 of it can go in the pot! With the other NSD's I current have £39 in that pot, so only another £21 to go before I can make that tranfser to the credit card.
Tomorrow I taking my boss for lunch for his birthday which is my shout, I have budgeted £15 and will have tomorrows £10 too so hopefully that's what it'll come to! lol
Need to lay off the chocolates big time and run everyday to be in any sort of shape for army boy - SO excited! How nice is this.... He managed to get himself on an earlier flight and so was able to surprise his Mum and Dad by turning up on Christmas morning! I had a tear in my eye!
Once he arrives we have to plan to chill, catch up, he wants to shop, and go out so it will be a spendy few days and will have the £10 budget to stick to. However, Im working every weekend in January so I may be a bit more relaxed about this and forfeit the budget on days later in the month if I overspend as I don't want his visit to be hampered by my money issues and dont want him to ask questions either!
Off to update siggy, will catch up on everyone else's diaries tonight as I need to get back to work now!
