Sorry you're poorly again, it's a nasty one isn't it. The day in bed should help you get back on your feet (literally as well as MS). Shame about missing the party but yay! to the £25 saved and the PO DD clearing!

I hope you have a nice fat jar (or better still virtual jar) for the NSD money because I can see you filling it up in no time. :)

Hope you're okay for the party tomorrow but if not then make the most of it and get yourself properly better so you are full of health when your Christmas guest arrives!

  • Hi LG,

Bad news about the bug, especially as you thought you were nearly over it! I'm sure a day in bed will help.

My dad has been helping me look after the animals so that has been great - I have been shuffling about trying to do them in a morning but wasn't getting anywhere fast!

Well done on talking yourself out of the new jumper - just shows how much you have changed.

Hoping you are feeling better for Christmas.

    Take care.

Thanks, yeah it isn't giving up easy!! Yeah quite happy to be honest I'm not under the pressure to spend money tonight!

I do have a jar :D I'll fill it up with cash then make the transfer from my bank to the CC and use the cash instead of withdrawing the cash for my £10 a day budget.

Thanks, I will see how I feel in the morning I'd like to go in but not going to make myself worse for xmas!

  • Hi all,

Went back into work today, bitterly regretted it once the screaming kinds arrived giving me a headache on top of everything else! Sooo not ready for that stage in life yet! Love kids, love my niece and god daughter but I'm so not there myself! lol

Boss was awesome and sent us all home at 4 which was a treat. I had a £3 spend today so not an NSD unfortunately but by going home early I managed to escape some drinks that had been organised for a girl that left. Phew. Came home and scrubbed the bathroom like a woman possessed, it had gotten really grotty recently as we've all been too lazy, but I finally bit the bullet and now its gleaming and ready for the arrival of the folks and then army boy (8 days!!)

Hoping to have a NSD tomorrow, they usually let us go at lunch on the last day before xmas, so I plan to come home, clean, pack and relax then my train home is early Sat am. Can't wait!

I should be racking up the NSD's after tomorrow - fingers crossed!!!

  • Hi all!

Feeling a LOT better today! Had a nice morning at work then we got sent home at lunch :D so had a quick one in the pub (boss bought) then headed home and have cleaned the flat and now chilling out.

Spent £6 on whiskey miniatures to add to Dads present so added £4 to the NSD pot.

Tomorrow I know I have to spent a little but at least Xmas day will be a NSD!

I'm not sure how much I'll get on in the next few days, but I intend to eat, drink and be merry without worrying about £££ I have my budget in my purse to take home with me so that's sorted. Hope to bring most of it back!

Just want to say a really deep thank you to all of you. The support you have given me has meant so much I can never express how grateful I am. For the first time I am optimistic about money and looking forward to making more progress in 2012.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

    Love LG x
