So, I am super chuffed!! I managed to do all my grocery shopping tonight for a cash value of £0.80! Thanks to nectar card points! As that was in small change in my purse I didn't have to break into my tenner so I can still claim my NSD! 3 more to go! The butternut squash risotto went down a treat and we had such a nice evening catching up now I'm not full of exam stress!
So, each year where I ride, for their insurance purposes we have to re-assessed to ensure we haven't forgotten how to ride in the past year! Got the phone call today to inform me I was due in tomorrow am as usual to perform my assessment. Very Well! "Do I have a nice horse?" Yes.... Apocalypse! Now, the name may sound a bit ominous however, he is a dear sweet horse (even though he's planted me on the floor before - my fault) so I included two HUGE juicy carrots into my shop to bribe him into being a gem! haha Will report back tomorrow, im off to bed to get some beauty sleep

hey all caught up now! you are doing so well - i need to sort myself out! keep it up I get paid on friday and i'm going to try and do your daily allowance thing with the tenner (although i'm a bit tighter so it might be more of a weekly allowance!)0

Och brilliant girlie (hope you don't mind me calling you that
).....I am praying your riding goes well and good news about exams...
I got up at 3am  so will be tired later but can't go back to bed now as have depot shot soon (like this am)...so just pottering then going for depot...
At least I got 6 hours sleep last night but now after 2 coffees I'm a bit hyper and just want to knit and do housework...
I did food shop yesterday. Though tuna (cheap) was extortionate at over 60p a tin (used to be about 30p) so went to Lidls...only to discover it was the same price there. Then got cat litter for the boys bedding (all 10kg of it) only to discover that it was the wrong stuff so not happy. Could barely put my trolley on the bus...
Also L has juicers (look like the phillips ones) for £30 - so annoyed!!! But then I kind of reckon my charity shop one has been barely used so maybe it'll last a good wee while. It's all about the motors. Nothing else. It's about the only thing that can go quickly on a juicer... (centrifrugal) and when it starts to grind overtly you know it's on the way out...
So my food shop was £17 for the week. Not bad (including cat litter) but would have liked it to be better...

Thank you! Yeah just work out what money you can afford for the month and divide it by day or week, whichever works for you, it seems to work for me as its a daily reminder that I need to keep on trackSantander 0% £1,529.94

Hi all,
So riding this morning was great, we all reach the standard required! Lol! Feeling a bit knackered from the early morning and coming down off exam stress! Early night tonight, pyjamas and a film I think! It's so nice to be able to enjoy an evening off and not have to feel guilty about not studying!
Today should be a NSD which will make it 8! My boss and I went for a walk at lunch and he treated me to some edamame beans which was really nice of him
My Mazuma mobile money has already been paid so well chuffed with that! £89 will have to come off the card in next months stats as I have got my card reader to do the transfer now.
And Grandma sent me £50 as an xmas present in advance to buy myself something nice with! So I will keep that to one side. I might buy a dress for the xmas party as it's black tie and I sold my only suitable dresses! Oops! Or I will take it to Olympia to buy horsey gear!
So here are this months stats as it is payday tomorrow:
Debt: £13,005.83
Amount debt reduced by this month: £479.78 - I was £70.22 short of my £550 target due to having to pay out for that new phone. I would have beat that target if I could tfr Mazuma money today
NSD's: 8 - Since last payday 25.10.2011 not inc today
Amount in pot from NSD's to kick start xmas social fund: £20
Interest Paid this month: £57.12 (cc's only)
Current DFD: 01.03.2014 (reduced from 01.04.2014)
Thoughts on next month:
Aiming to pay £550 off debt but aiming at £431.26 if i cant afford to make overpayments due to xmas
Will still withdraw £300 for my daily cash even though it will be shorter time till next payday due to xmas then in that longer January payday I wont be short.
Xmas budget done and shopping to be finishes this weekend
Social budget done and to be adhered to and hopefully bettered!
I think thats all for now!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Just had a very quick catch up (am meant to be doing other things) and wanted to say...
:jYay!:j to exam being over and hopefully all okay or better.
:Tto 80p spend and other MS goodies! :T
and well done on still being able to ride, though somehow that doesn't surprise me (neither do the other things, I hasten to add).(Though I wish I could do an 80p food spend).
My cake is nearly cooked - I can tell by the smell - and then I have to dash off for shopping etc but I will return! Later.Miggy

Rounded Mazuma money up to £90 and paid that over to the Halifax credit card, so possibly £300 left on that one nowSantander 0% £1,529.94
