  • Also, I want to get something to occupy the boys whilst they're here as we don't really keep toys!

Colouring books? I have felt tips they have use and destroy!

    Boy this took some googling

    http://www.howto.co.uk/wellbeing/quick-healthy-recipes/liver/#nut-free-nut-roast

Prepare day before hand then put in fridge then you just have to heat up :j.

Yummy with gravy (any) and cabbage and peas (frozen peas or any frozen veg)

Cheap and I have it most Sabbaths :D

PS. I use the cheap red kidney beans rather than the chick peas - works fine. Flung whatever veg you want to into it - just like a meat loaf. Takes about 30 mins to prepare and 30 mins - 1 hour (can't recall) to cook:). Bon appetite...

As for the boys...I'd get a cardboard box personally and put it in your lounge....Just a big one :)

Pick up from anywhere (like cash and carry place or somewhere).....and maybe an old sheet or two or one you've got from the charity shop

Should be hours of imaginative fun :)

..... and dig out some bubble wrap :)
  • I would just suggest that they bring some of their own stuff to play with, I'm sure they wouldn't mind. That's what I've always done when taking my child to a child-free house.
  • Thanks for the ideas Erme and Fuzzy! I do happen to have a large cardboard box, they can make a den! I'm sure they will bring toys actually and they are really sweet boys so as long as they aren't bored!!

  • Morning all,

Up and at my desk ready to tackle the last day of revision!!!! I honestly have no idea how I will do tomorrow, so far it seems to depend on the questions. The marking schemes tend to be quite general so as long as I can make some valid points and write about the correct theory then I should be OK...

I will miss out on a NSD day today as I bought Mum and Dad an anniversary card from moonpig, but that will be all.

I've decided to try and cut out drink for a month or so, my skin seems to be getting a bit sore again and its usually drink or stress related so I reckon a combination of both this time. But it will also help on the money saving mission! Going to try and put a few bits on ebay today too

Och brilliant...I had quite a spendy day today :(. Got a new juicer (worth about £50) for £15 then it needed a juice jug so that was £1.50. Then got some cutlery I needed (20p a piece =£2) and a new craft chair for £2 (yet to pick up. Have to pick up by Thursday at the latest ) and my LS Balsam and currently sitting on a leather chair that hasn't been looked after so will definitely look after my baby. So yeah £30 gone and not much for this week either so will deffo have to go pick up my earnings from the bookshop (where I sold some books) this week just to make ends meet and jiggle the budget but DV I should have that refund from the auction site in my account the next few days so that will help (if it's not in by thursday I will send them another email)

OK I'm losing the will now.... will some one please give me a boot up the jacksy?

Sending carbon dioxide and rocket fuel for a certain body part of yours......

  • Morning gang,

Today is the big day. Slept terribly last night so not feeling great but have a lucozade to take in with me to hopefully keep me alert through 3 hours and 20 minutes of hell.

Will be so pleased when this is done.

Have to pop to boots and get a few essentials afterwards so today will be a small spendy day.

    Will report back later
