So, just tried to turn the old phone on.... nothing! Dead as a dodo!
So, filled out the mazuma form for that and my old device named after fruit and I should have a sweet £89 making its way to my bank account! Another £89 to throw at debt! Woop! Then, when upgrade time comes I can sell this new one and upgrade back to the jazzy model again!
I have a pile of books to go on amazon today too and I reckon I will sell my old boxing gloves, only used them a few times when I took up boxing with my ex and I soon lost interest!
So, going to spend this am MSE'ing and chatting to my army boy online then will crack on with revision this afternoon. I'll lose the plot if I do it all day again!
I'm also going to browse online for an xmas present for mum and dad, then I can order it on payday and that'll be the most expensive xmas presents done!Santander 0% £1,529.94

Back is sore from shifting the sofa yesterday and think the cord is going on my bamboo blind I only got in March
...don't know what's had it
. Beastie or moth or something..
So that will need an sos trip to the sewing shop before it goes (will be cheaper than getting a new blind) and fixing...should be find and games but I guess it's just about rolling it up then putting the cord in ....
Can wait a few days...
And the sun was so bright in the kitchen just now I really must get around to putting up the blind in there @ some point. :T
Anyhow tired still (still not sleeping fab) so just vegging with a sore back
And spent monies today on milk and a doughnut cos was so tired yesterday didn't get milk :eek

Oooh, a possible Rooooohhhhh-mance! Hopefully that helps compensate for the hangover.
Er... did you get the exam finished?
You have been working so hard, I expect you have some eye strain too, which doesn't help. Are you going to take the evening off? Unwind a bit? Pretty please?
Erme - well done on the leather armchair! Now I can foresee you are going to do a Memory Girl act and transform it into something amazing with a bit of polish and imagination. If that was me I would immediately go out and spend on leather wipes at least, probably saddle soap too if I know me! Then I would want a cushion and a throw... not to mention the perfect reading lamp next to it.
You, however, are going to be much more self-controlled.
Enjoy.
(Must stop typing that in because I keep putting :0 by accident and one day I won't spot it).
Och yes Leather wipes....and I already have some afghans but I like it just the way it is right now...now where do I get leather wipes from? Savers? Are they about the cheapest? This is my first leather piece of furniture....Doesn't need a cushion it's that comfy....
Only have back ache now...Anyone know anything about cloud backup? Advise on a mac pleaseLondonGirl252 wrote: »Still struggling to finish the exam, feel v nauseous!
Been distracted for the last hour with talking to my friend in Afghan online. Well, he's a little more than a friend now
Long story short. We met about 6 years ago through having the same group of friends. About 5 years ago we had a little fling but nothing came of it. I was v young! Since then, always been mates, flirted, occasional kiss etc hung out when he's been around and kept in touch when he's been away. He's had a few gf's come and go as I have bf's. Before he went to Afghan a few months ago we were seeing a lot more of each other and spending time together. We had both agreed we wanted nothing more and were happy with the arrangement. It suited us both with where we were in our lives. Since he's been away and we've gotten close via letters, emails, skype.. we've been questioning whether we should be anything more, today we spoke about it properly and decided to spend more time together and see how it goes, so now i'm quiteand now even more distracted from homework!
Just wanted to share!
OOOOhhhhhh....misteltoe and wine...when is he back? Ooooohhhh....big cheap wedding......I will make the invites(seriously. I have 500 A6 cards or so and I got them cheap. You just need to pay for the envelopes which approx £20) and then babies (and that'll be a pair of Erme's baby booties
) and nappies....(not such fun part)..
Will you homeschool? tee hee
Yes Erme is going for the windups
Congrats Girlie

hahahaha!!! Steady on Erme!!!! I'm a serial commitment phobe if i dont scare him off it'll be a miracle!!
He's back for 2 weeks from the 28th, spending NYE and a few days then with me. Back to Kabul early Jan then just 5 weeks until he is on home soil for the forseeable future. Still based away so it'll be a long distance thing if it works but that suits me!Santander 0% £1,529.94

:rotfl: couldn't resist
this is from a well known cleaning website on a review of their leather wipes
I was very disappointed with these wipes, which did not perform well. The pack soon dried out, although I carefully closed it. A friend recommended baby wipes for cleaning leather, which I tried and they did a much better job, as well as being much cheaper. I will not be buying this product again.
So yeah baby wipes and maybe something like some beeswax leather cream at some point? What do folk reckon...got to keep my baby beautiful

Ps. Just sorted LS Leather Balsam...about £2 from any supermarket/dept store :j

Right gang, I have a new challenge in my path!!
Two of my oldest and dearest friends (married and live locally) had their birthdays this week and silly old me in my exam hell completely forgot! Felt dreadful as they've never forgotten my birthday and always given me very nice presents. I have no idea what to buy them anyway as they run two successful businesses and don't need anything so I invited them and their two boys aged 1 and 3 over for Sunday lunch a week today.
What on earth do I cook? I was thinking a roast would be nice as its bound to be cold and autumunal I was thinking for 3 adults and 2 kiddies this would be reasonably cost effective?
I'm going to pay for it through having NSD's over the next week I was thinking of trying to do it for under £30? I'll get it some beer, wine and juice too just not too much as it is Sunday after allSantander 0% £1,529.94
