Thanks Lullabelle, I am really chuffed it will help a lot!
Haha you might change your mind Sugarcube after I mention last night! I forgot to defrost the beef so tried running it under cold water but that washed away all the juices and it started to lose its colour so then I tried cooking it and half was cooked and half frozen! So it went in the bin!
Luckily the shop accross the road was still open so M went and bought us some chicken and I still made exactly the same thing but with chicken it was actually really nice!
Tonight we didn't have a meal planned as I had allowed for one night where we would be out, which usually happens. but I have tonnes of stir fry veg in the freezer so I'll pick up some meat and do a stir fry with quinoa and rice.
Unusually we don't have any plans this weekend which is really nice! So we are going to go shopping for our xmas decs (we have a debenhams voucher which needs spending) and maybe brave Ikea to get a chest of drawers for our bedroom.
M asked me yesterday what I would like for xmas. I said a ring. hahaha!! Then had to calm him down and say I wanted a really nice everyday ring I like quite chunky ones so I had a look online and showed him the style I meant. He much prefers knowning what to get, he thinks I'm hard to buy for but I think I'm easy! Anything sparkly or with a horse on!

A weekend without plans sounds lovely - we are the same for the first time in a long time (and the last!!) sounds like you need a break.
Well done on getting the working from home sorted - I found I was more productive - maybe no communte / wearing PJ's helped! Glad they will let you, I think its a great way to keep staff happy.

Another two tube trips in the bank for Friday morning and this morning, I'll update my siggy.
A very good weekend spending wise actually, I barely spent any of my own money at all which was great!
Yesterday we went for run (me)/ cycle (him) in the park and saw hundreds and hundreds of deer, they were galloping around having a great old time! Stood and watched them for ages, was fabulous!
This week I am in the office Mon-Weds, WFH Thursday and I have a day of leave on Friday to go horseriding and get M's birthday and xmas pressies sorted somewhat. Looking forward to a shorter week, though I have a board meeting tomorrow so that'll be busy enough.
After the board meeting we're having a few drinks and Weds night I'm meeting a couple of mates after work so I need to try and limit the drinking.
I signed up to slimming world online. Had a reasonable weekend, need to tot up total syns but as I hate waste I have to say in some recipes I didn't do it 100% the SW way as I wanted to use up what I have in the cupboards first. My online shop for this week and next week are fully SW friendly so should be better now!
Thursdays are the day to log my wieght so I'm expecting to stay the same this week then hopefully see some improvement next week.
Last night I made SW Homity Pie for dinner, was delish... would have been even better with some fish!
Tonight is tikka turkey burgers with syn free chips!

Afternoon all,
Sat at work gazing out at the miserable weather, rain rain go away! Actually I don't mind too much but I hope it stops by tonight as I don't want to get my shoes wet!
Another tube trip banked for this morning!
Last nights Turkey burgers were awesome, really yummy and the syn free chips were ace!
I have a board meeting today at work and this is usually followed by some drinks and occasionally dinner so I left the boy leftovers from Sunday for his dinner and I will see how my evening goes!
Tomorrow I am out again with some friends so same again!
Thursday I am WFH! Woop so get to avoid the trains and work in my PJs what could be better, I am planning to get in an hour of x-box dancing in over lunch and to also batch cook slimming world pasta sauce to freeze.
Friday is annual leave! Even better! I have horse riding booked for the morning and if the boy is working in the afternoon I am going to go shopping for his birthday presents, if he gets the afternoon off which is the usual for a Friday then we get to hang out together and I will do his shopping on Sunday when he is at work.
I have made a spreadsheet totrack my syns, today is looking a lot better (until I add any alcohol from tonight) but wow, from Friday to yesterday it hasn't been good! Will be good to compare next week to this week when I am done after I have made the changes in the shopping.
Need to switch all the direct debits now that the joint account is active:

ARGH! Just wrote a long post then it deleted! I'll start again.
I can't log any tube trips this morning unfortunatley, we had a few drinks last night after work and I had an enourmous headache this morning so I went back to sleep and came into the office a little late!
The syns ain't half racking up this week, if anything I will expect a gain when i weigh tomorrow. At least now my cupboards are full of the right kind of food to do better next week.
I spoke to Mum last night, my grandmother on her side isn't well at all. She was diagnosed with dementia a while back and after deteriorating to the point where she wasn't safe at home alone she was moved into a care home where she perked up a little as she had proper care and was eating properly as well as having more social interation.
They noticed recently she isn't walking properly, she has a frame to help support her but she's been walking with her feet outwards. This caused a fracture last week so she went into hospital, since she's been in hospital the change has completely thrown her, she's so confused and can't swallow, she won't open her eyes and Mum was told last night she has phnemonia.
I hate being so far away during these times, I said to Mum I'd come up and see her this weekend but she's told me not to, said it will confuse her and that she isn't responding anyway and she wouldn't want me to see her like this.
I'm really worried somethings going to happen though and I want to see her but Mum says she doesn't think we're at that stage just yet. So I'll keep in touch with Mum and go up when I think it's a good time. So sad it's such a horrible disease.
Other than that, life in LG land is fine. I am out again tonight with some friends but planning to get home much earlier and drink less.
Cannot wait to work from home tomorrow, I need the rest.

awww LG, so sorry to hear about your grandmother - it's awful when these things happen to them. At least if she is in hospital she will be getting the care/nutrition she needs and will have people looking out for her all the time. Big hug. xxI want to be a writer0

Thanks Lulabelle
Mum said today she seems to have brightened up a bit so I am hoping that continues.
My neice who is 4 months old is now in hospital as well! She picked up a cold which turned into a cough then today she was struggling to breathe so the doc sent them straight to A&E, just heard they have put drops in her nose and throat and that has helped and she's been able to have some milk and is now sleeping so fingers crossed she will start to recover as well.
It never rains, it pours hey? I am definiltey going to go up next weekend I think then hopefully Grandma will be fit for visitors and I can see everyone.
I am enjoying WFH today, was still up at half 5 to take OH to work but I did manage another hour in bed until I was woken by his granny calling. She had worked herself up into a right state, there's a form to be signed by Monday to complete on the sale of her daughters (OH Mum) house in London and purchase of new house down south closer to Granny, and as trustees my OH and his bro need to sign this form... as soon as I explained Bro could sign tomorrow and OH could sign saturday then post back recorded Sat am then it would be fine she calmed down. Honestly, she has huge heart problems and working herself up like that won't help at all! At first I though she calling for help because she was ill or something. We will all be pleased when this sale goes through and they have moved.
Just done an hour over lunch on the xbox dance game- I'm doing pretty well! On some songs I am at pro level, its a good game! I'll get on it again tomorrow too!
Drinks last night were good, I manged to get home at a better time, had a couple of glasses of wine and we had turkish food which was lush.
This morning was weigh day for SW. Put on a little bit but i was expecting that, anyway this week I am on the plan properly so should start to see a difference.
This morning I have made a huge vat of syn free pasts sauce which I will freeze in individual portions to make for some easy meals.
Tonight we are having cod wrapped in bacon (fat removed) with veggies and syn free chips. Can't wait.
Tomorrow we were supposed to having lamb passanda but I might switch that to lunch as OH's friends have invited us out, it is in London which is a paid but they are a fun bunch and I haven't seen them in ages, we'll see.
I am going to view a second hand bike tomorrow, only £40 and looks in great condition, hoping OH is finished work in time to come with me. It will be a big help when OH is working nights to get myself to the train station and also at weekends when OH and I want to go out and exercise as he can't run it would be nice to cycle together
