Thanks! Definitely noticed in the last week or two that I am feeling more settled in the new place and more comfortable there. I feel less anxious in general which is good!Santander 0% £1,529.94

ooooh LG I wonder if he is going to propose! (mind you, I am a bit of a romantic sop!)
the horse riding sounds great - i really miss riding. the boys aunt/cousins have horses and a farm so if i don't get this job and have time off am going to see if can help in return for the odd ride.
you are so good with your tube trips (or rather lack of them).
hope you enjoy your drinks tonight - one thing i do miss about living in a big city is the variety of watering holes and people's willingness for after drink works!

Hahaha!!! I would love that but I doubt it very much, I imagine that will be in a year or two once the house excitement has settled down! He doesn't seem to be in any rush at all!
Oh lovely, although I hope you get the job I also hope you get to have some time off in between to go and do that riding! I would love to live on a farm and have a horse of my own!
It is great! Drink was good thanks, and managed to stick to only one so I could have dinner with the boy

Last night although I did stick to one drink I did get the tube back to the station so I spent £2.30 off my Oyster, but I walked in this morning despite the rain so I can log one more saved one.
I have a board meeting this afternoon which I believe is being followed by drinks so I think I'll be tube-ing again tonight. But no plans tomorrow so I will run then!
I tried a new recipe last night from the "healthy eating" cookbook, it was a baked chicken schnitzel, I used breadcrumbs, parmesan and lemon to coat the chicken and baked it with sweet potato wedges and beans and peas. Was lush! There was enough leftover for lunch but I forgot to pack it this morning!!!! Woops! Luckily I have some soup in the fridge I bought earlier in the week so I can eat that instead!

Hi you sounds exciting in your world at the moment - I thought the same re putting a ring on it!! Sorry, but how exciting.
With regards to the horses - you have to make sure you enjoy it and relax no shouting etc. Thats the whole point?!? If you wanted lesson lessons you could but clearly you dont need it! Good luck with the refund.
Well done on only the one and for walking in the rain

Hahaha well obviously if he does surprise me then you guys will be informed right away but I'm not expecting it! He's such an indecisive soul the trauma of picking out a ring would take him a loooong time! hahaha
Thanks I think so, even if this new place doesn't work out I have a plan C... there is a riding stables that is hacking only, I have ridden with them a few times and always had fab rides so I would happily go back there but it is v £££ so I would have to cut down to once a month I think. But at least it's an option!

We had some good drinks and food after the meeting yesterday all paid for by work so that's good but it wasn't exactly diet friendly
haha ah well. So while I didn't get the tube back to the station I did get an uber as it was getting late so I won't count a saved tube journey for last night, but I did walk this morning so I have one more to log!
I am meeting an old friend for dinner tonight, I worked with her about 8 years ago and we've only seen each other once since then after getting back in touch recently so I am looking forward to that, she was happy to meet near the station so I will walk there from work and then I'll be nice and close to the station to get home and that will be a tube journey saved.
The car went into the garage yesterday for repairs and we have a courtesy car now! I was hoping we could go to Ikea this weekend to get a chest of drawers for our bedroom but it's so small there's no way we'd get any boxes in! I shall have to be patient!
Need to have a NSD tomorrow, I certainly haven't been spending a lot but it's little things each day that add up!
We got a letter from HMRC yesterday stating that we haven't paid SDLT on our new home and they're now charging us interest!!! Got straight onto the solicitor who said that they've had this problem with a lot of their clients and they SDLT has definitely been paid. She advised me to ignore the letter but I'd feel more comfortable appealing to say we have paid this..... just in case?!

Hi
With HMRC and this tax just ring them and confirm. Sometimes I have had it where clients get this and paid but they are so behind with paperwork letter is issued anyhow! Make you feel better?
Sure the Uber was worth it. x
