    Hi gang

Sorry I've been so AWOL, its been a crazy week and I'm EXHAUSTED!!!

Date was.... less than perfect! He was a nice enough guy but definitely too short and skinny for my liking (army boy is 6ft 4 and 17stone of muscle to compare this guy was probably shorter than me and a couple of stone lighter!) we got on OK and had plenty to talk about but... Funny story though, in our emails we'd had a bit of banter about how I am the type of person to do the opposite of what I'm told (in a mischievous sort of way) so during the second bottle of wine and obviously feeling a bit cocky and sure of himself he leans over the table and puts his face to mine in a creepy sort of way and says "Let try this reverse psychology. Don't kiss me" and Oh gosh it was all too much and I just burst out laughing and that was it, I was a laughing wreck the rest of the night. It was ALL WRONG! I mean, who tells these guys that lines like that are OK??? No. No. No. He text me the next day so I just replied and said I thought he was a lovely guy but just not for me and wished him well.

    I'm sticking to horses.

Had a lovely weekend back home, i did highlights for two of my friends and earnt £50 :) which paid for my new haircut - got a fringe cut in AND about 5 inches off the length! And also had my jumping lesson today which was tonnes of fun. Did some revision on the tube too.

Really struggling to balance work/life/study at the moment which is why my replies on here have been slower and I'm totally behind on everyones diaries so I apologise :(

We have film crew in work tomorrow filming for something but not sure what! So will make sure I actually wear make up!

Im also meeting a friend for dinner after work but using a voucher.

MSE-ing is going well, Im not clocking the NSD's as its too much this month, but Im definitley not over the £10 a day budget and having the extra cash from bonus is helping.

I have a meeting tomorrow morning about the desk move, have accepted it now and feeling better about it, everyone over there said really nice things about me joining them when they found out which helped a million.

What else is going on this week? Well, on Thursday our CFO is taking us out for drinks to thank us for year end work, so going to go for a couple then try and get an early night and hopefully spend no money! The weekend involves college and revision so really going to try and crack on with that I feel like I've let it slip a bit this week

    Hope you're all OK!

I've been away for a few days and missed lots! Well done for getting 25% paid off, the money for doing the highlights and the compensation for your shopping that didn't come, LOL about sticking to horses!

I had better get some sleep but thought I would just call in and let you know I haven't deserted you - we were in London mid-week and I did think of you. :)

Oh LG, what a great story on your date. With a line like that even if you'd been quite impressed that would just put any fire out, wouldn't it? :D But it sounds like it lightened the evening and you had a fun night out and that's nice. It was good of him to text the next day too, but also lovely that you let him know where he stood.

You do sound busy at the moment. You always rise to these challenges though so good luck with this next one.

Well done too. You're steaming forward and it's great to read your updates.

That sounds like such a cringy date...ewww (pukes).... I'd have slapped him...

The chap got off lightly - now add lady to your CV LG.....

I've spent about £80 (or maybe £100) on attachments for KC and like £18 on grease I needed.... (as advised by Krestore). Might also need a new belt but I won't know that till I take off the top and put the grease in :(

But then (please all don't faint)...am hoping DV to sell the espresso machine on ebay/classifieds since my coffee reduction and like then the magimix which I think I will start the bidding on at £49.99....with buy it now @ £60 or £75 plus £10 postage as it's mega heavy... (it cost me £100 18 months ago)... the coffee machine cost £50 but they still sell them ( for £66) and it's a which best buy so reckon I should easily get £40 for it... So that'll pay for things...

Will also sell juicer as well for £15 plus £5 postage so should get the kitchen cleared out and make a profit :j and I think I have some cake coolers under the cupboard to sell as well (will have to check on lakeland how much they go for)...

Never mind the £22 spent at T *lethal shop* on bakeware LOL

Haha I think he probably did get off easy but its a funny story to tell!

Hope you had a nice time in London Miggy!

Not too much to report today, 17 days until payday and I still have £170 to take me through. Im struggling with college work its SO hard, I now have 3 "mock" exams to hand in over the next week, just tried to start one in my lunch break and now I'm ready to jump out of my 10th floor window!

The meeting about the desk move was OK from my perspective, they've put it back till end of May so my exams will be out of the way. My line manager S wasn't happy am came across really negatively in the meeting and the meeting ended up focusing around her career development and I was worried I might come across as difficult too but our boss, J, spoke to them today to get feedback and they said that it was good I seemed positive about the move so thats good. And they confirmed which bank of desk we would be sat on and its with the other accountants, some of whom Im good mates with so Im happy with that too. Will be sad to move over but feeling more positive in general.

Going to be a long day at work today... URGH

Going to post quickly then get on with some CIMA work, was nearly in tears at my desk tonight, nothing is simple at work at the moment big problems have come out of the woodwork from before my time in this role and it means a hell of a lot of work to fix them. In trying to fix some of it, some of my usual work has fallen by the wayside a little and not been kept on top of and as a result I haven't picked up on things I normally would have and then its taken even more time to get those sorted. I have the hugest list to do but Im also really consious that my CIMA work is being pushed to the bottom of the pile. Am Im struggling to understand that too. My boss sees CIMA as my priority and he ordered me to go home and forget work but I just feel so stressed. He's right that some things can be done a little less thoroughly for a couple of months but its not the way I work, I cant do a job by half. We have a meeting with the FD on Thursday where we questions all our figures and mine look terrible and I have no answer for them. I hate this, the though that in April and May Im spending more time at college than at work stresses me out more as I just dont know how Im going to get through everything

Sorry, that was a huge mind dump there

Going to go away, do some study for an hour then try and forget it all :(

    Hey guys,

Thanks for the nice messages, work was better yesterday thank you - still too much on but just trying to get through it all now. I woke up this morning full of flu (AGAIN!!!) and had really no choice but to stay at home feeling better for a restful day but throat is killing. Boss told me to stay home tomorrow as I have college on Sat and need to be 100% for that. Promised him i would stay home if not 100% but will come in if i feel better.

Trying not to think about the HUGE pile that will be there on Monday if I'm not in. But if i'm home tomorrow I can probably read my college books in bed so it wont be a totally wasted day

Otherwise everything is OK, money things are good, I'm sticking to £10 a day quite happily. Next month planning to gear it back up to get more NSD's and spend much less but that's just not possible this month!

Hope you feel better soon Erme - this isnt fun!!

    Thanks Miggy, I'm definitley that!
