Tesco DISCUSSION, grabbits and misprices thread 11+

Whoops...posted this on the other misprices thread!

So I trotted off to tesco to get, amoung other things, my rolo lollies on BOGOF. I got 4. Realised walking away from the till that they were B1G2F! CS lady was really nice and went and got me my two other free boxes. Now looking at my receipt I did in fact only get a £1.23 discount.

Long story short

Bought 6 boxes, should have paid £2.48 but paid £3.73.

Can I go back and ask for JTD or DTD?

Managed to !!!! that right up, I imagine I would have been better off if I'd actually read the 3 for 1 offer and scanned all 6!!


Oh and did find those pjs but reduced sticker to £7, didn't check what they were scanning at as no self scanner and not in hubby's size.

Bought 4 x Shea butter Andrex and 4 x batteries but offers worked so no glitches! Still good on BOGOF.

200g Philly is £1 so got two packs free with two £1 philly vouchers from the voucher thread

thanks jumblejack....definately going to take head of yours and other wise peoples advise on here and not use my cc unless absolutely sure the transaction is ok (ie no DTD due etc)....I think I'll start using hubbys instead as well...that way there is no 'bad history' associated with his! And will just add the 'unclaimed' points onto one of the cards a week or so later if I remember!

I collect my points all year round then usually cash themin when theres an offer on I like....I used my last £40 worth to double up into pet food vouchers when it was 3for2 on pedigree chum!! Was quite amusing walking though the shop with a trolley full of dog food- the staff all thought I was crazy for 'wasting' my points - truth is, i got 5 mths of dog food for 'free' !!!

The Rolo lollys just have a sel of £2.49 in my store . no offers ! On line they are 3 for2 .

at least we didnt get national publicity. i like being hidden.:o
