This is for anyone in the Cr@dley He@th area...
last night, they had some DAB digital radios personal ones ... Pocket sized like i-pod size ish -
The SEL on these were £29. something, but were scanning at £49.something...... so a good bargain for £9.00 with DTD...
i didnt get any as i dont need them, but surely would make a good xmas prezzie for someone... cant remember if it was an OOD SEL, but dont think it was, think it was just a normal white label... there were 2 left on the last isle upstairs, near where all the camera cases are etc ( to the left, 2nd shelf from bottom i think) - Green and clear packaging.. there were also some reduced camera cases too.
I also got a DTD on some Logitec mouse ( mouses/mice??) - SEL said £8.49, but were scanning through at £19.97.... the lady didnt remove the label, so could be another potential for someone there... they were on an arm on the end of the isle where the PC stuff is.
hope this helps someone.
ps - if there is any casserole dishes that anyone finds in this store - please can you leave one for me...??
Many thanks, I got the DAB radio idea stocking filler as I had a £5 off £50 spend so cost me £4 in total and I got a petrol coupon, the pc mouse had the SEL removed, also there was 1 lonely SEL saying 8 cans of coke bogof £1.15 which didn't kick in so was paid over £4 to take away 64 tins of coke
While I was waiting at the CS desk they DTD 3for 99p on choc bars, he had a crunchie cadburys caramel and cadburys dairy bar, then a lady had a meal deal 2 garlic breads strawberry cheesecake and some sort of pasta meal (tried to rubber neck but failed)0 -
The Rolo lollys just have a sel of £2.49 in my store . no offers ! On line they are 3 for2 .
They're the ones on the bottom here, think it's the top ones you saw.

Anyway, still a bargain without DTD, kicking myself though, do I go and buy more for DTD on all of them?? :cool:0 -
just come back from £astbourne extra. but whilst in there we saw a lady eyeing up the casserole dishes, and she was definatly looking for the "right one". we went nearer and i looked up and saw a new box of them. i asked her if she was "a freind of martins" to which she replied "yes".:wave:
i thought she safe ( not staff) and i got the box of the top shelf, much to my sons disaproval. they were the right code and we had one each. i put 2 on the shelf, i didnt know what to do with the empty box, so put it back on the top shelf
.
and good karma came back to me. the lady (whose name i cant remember ,sorry) said there is a woman giving away free dove conditioner down the health aisle.thank you.
i doubt you will read this though as you have a 2 hour drive home to ashf0rd. and this thread moves quickly.life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Count yourself lucky. Both customers are probably locked up in a warehouse somewhere, dressed in orange boiler suits with their hair shaved off........how dare they have the audacity to try and challenge being overcharged0 -

I used my credit card the other day for some wine and got DTD and again a few weeks ago for an item which went through too expensive resulting in a free electrical item. I'm not worried at all, I use my credit card all the time in tesco and to pay for my fuel regularly at tesco petrol stations. Do you really think anyone will care about two transactions where THEY messed up compared to the dozens each month where I pay tesco for my shopping and services?
Unless you are going into the same tesco day after day looking for DTD, then really this is a non issue and posts like this just scare people. Not having a go at you personally, but please can we stop this scare mongering.
Thank you for your very frank response;)
As I said credit cards are generally ok as far as I know but I wouldn't claim to be an expert. All I'm saying is tread carefully and make your own choices. It's not scaremongering. It has happened in the past of that I'm absolutely certain. I may be a relative newbie to thread 11 but I've been here before on the same thread in its earlier numbers so I do have a little bit of experience;)It's just a thing I believe people should be made aware of. No more no less.:cool:Awaiting a new sig0 -

I'm not scare mongering. I just wish I had known to exercise caution when I discovered DTD.
I was not exploiting it either. I only had 2 DTDs from the store in question too and they were not close together.
Don't worry unnecessarily. Just be cautious.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
