I'm quoting myself here, but if anyone is after a good combo for making the most of 25% off wine then read on....I can confirm JTD on Tattinger (champagne) and Castillero Del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon (red).
So, the best deal for this would be-
1 x Tatttinger @ £35.99
5 x Castillero @ £5.79
Total £64.94 minus 25% = £48.71
Tattinger is £20 at Mr A, Castillero £5 at Mr A so voucher back for £19.94.
Effective cost for 5 nice bottles of red and a decent bottle of champagne = £28.77
That should sort Christmas Day out!
Remember, JTD vouchers are capped at £20 so do not include more than 1 bottle of Tattinger in your 6 bottle selection. Not all Mr T stores stock Tattinger and Mr T can mess around with his price checker at any time
Final thought- add something else that you know won't compare to push over £50 for your 5p petrol voucher. Or swap one of the bottles of red for a Finest Meal Deal and possibly receive 2 petrol vouchers (1 for the meal deal and 1 for spending £50).0 -
any news on smarties working today? i just heard a cry "mum wheres all the chocolate gone?" :eek:life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0

Found the mens pyjamas things for £1, it was the one that said something about a try on the tshirt (cant remember the exact details and the stuff is still out in the car!) marked at £14 () scanned at £1, much more like it
Got a couple of sets, I always find on womens pyjamas the bottoms are too short so these will do me just nicely
:rotfl:So amny thanks to the person who posted about these
Also got a DTD on the Timotei Shampoo, the BOG2F didn't come off, think it was the 3 for 2 that came off so got £4.02 back, kicking myslef for not getting more! So nipped to the other extra round the corner but all the signage for B1G2F was gonewill try the small one in town later
There was also another lady at CS getting a refund on the shampoo, so if you're on here :wave:
Was hoping for a casserole dish or the bed rails, but couldn't find either, actually need these but nevermind, can't win 'em all
Same as me wish I'd got more Timotei:(MORNING ALL  Just!
Really glad someone else found the PJ's and T-shirts. Nice one!
Lookingforabargain, just noticed you found some too! Yay, does this mean I have at last officially found and posted a PROPER bargain now! LOL
Yes, You're initiated now:T:T:T:TNot working in my extra this morning, wish I'd gone at midnight last night but couldn't be bothered. Serves me right I suppose:o
What made it worse was that I was going out this morning to local small town centre to pay a cheque into OH bank account and decided to hang by the extra on my way. Andrex worked but as I say batteries didn't. Whilst in the town centre precinct decided to pop into the branch of a regional(North East) small Dept Store that I use regularly for basics if I'm there, just to benchmark battery prices. I saw that I could have bought the same batteries for £7 instead of the £9.94 that I paid for 4 packs at Tesco on BOGOF. So only £1.53 more than the Tesco glitch but without the hassle and uncertainty but of course none of the fun of the chase!
I wouldn't be at all surprised that if I went to Poundland(which is more of a hassle) I'd find them there even cheaper at times:o
Think I need to give my head a shake sometimes. Someone has beware glitching is addictive as a signature. I would like to add to that, if it were my signature: and it can cloud your judgementwould be added
At the end of the day however I suppose you win some lose some:cool:
It's my sig and my judgement is so not clouded, it's crystal clear as I got my batteries when T's paid me to take them away!!;);););)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Excellent thanks
I'm pretty sure there was some in Inshes, didn't get a proper look coz DD was getting wild by the time I got there, think she was fed up of being stuck in a trolley all morning, I'm such a terrible mother! :rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Must have missed your other post but just quickly before I retire for the night, using your clubcard for DTD is a dicey one. I used to use it but with some of the biggies I "forgot" my CC and never got the points added on. Other times I think sod it, what have I done wrong when I was feeling brazen. Most of my recent DTDs have been pennies in comparison to some of my previous ones so I use my CC regardless now. £3 worth (without doubling or tripling) of CC points for the Denby was too much to lose out on and every little help!
Trying to remember the name of the infamous Tesco bloke from HO who would phone people during the night back in the days of R&R. Kevin was it? That's the kind of hassle I don't need but then again, my clubcard isn't registered to my home address (see previous posts on marital issues. I had been using the ex's card for years so got my own one and made sure nothing could be redirected to his new address).
Sorry for not replying sooner to this post but with the experience of Looby 123 I thought it may be worth refreshing it in the hope that it warns those who regularly DTD of the possible consequences, whether deserved or not and whether active or not.(not being judgemental just a heads up;))
By the way, I was assuming from your join date that you would not have experienced R&R as that ended in Feb 2007? Or are you someone else in disguise:rotfl:
I'm hopefully not trying to state the obvious to savvy shoppers but using a clubcard at Tesco (or any other reward card elsewhere) gives a lot of info i.e. who you are, where you live, where you shop, when you shop, what products you buy regularly etc. Also it can show, if they choose to interrogate the system, if you have had a DTD and then go to another store and do the same thing. This coupled with CCTV and instore scanner logs could be used to pinpoint you. I know this may seem like a bit of Big Brother but it is possible. I think Tesco could gather sufficient evidence to prosecute someone for this but probably turn a half-blind eye because of the adverse publicity it would generate.
Banning people from a local store was the usual recourse in the days of R&R but some of those who used a clubcard were allegedly banned for from all stores and had their points and clubcard deleted.
I would hope that most of you would know this as part of the culture but there may be newbies that, in their enthusiasm, may not realise this.Awaiting a new sig0
