Just one pair...... and these were XXXL's too!!!! OMG,
I usually want have the L or XL in mens for comfort, but for 4p and knowing I need to get the sewing machine out this week for taking in some school trousers, I'll just take them in down the sides. It's something to slouch around in during the winter evenings so I don''t have to put the heating on yet..... isn't that so very MSE of me
:rotfl:it certainly is
Well I've just taken my new pyjamas out of their wrapper and discovered that both sets have security tags on them :eek::eek::eek::eek:
I went out the door with them then back in to get my DTD and then back out again and the alarm never went off at all!
Just need to figure out how to get it off, otherwise they are gonna be slightly uncomfy to wear :rotfl::rotfl:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Not working in my extra this morning, wish I'd gone at midnight last night but couldn't be bothered. Serves me right I suppose:o
What made it worse was that I was going out this morning to local small town centre to pay a cheque into OH bank account and decided to hang by the extra on my way. Andrex worked but as I say batteries didn't. Whilst in the town centre precinct decided to pop into the branch of a regional(North East) small Dept Store that I use regularly for basics if I'm there, just to benchmark battery prices. I saw that I could have bought the same batteries for £7 instead of the £9.94 that I paid for 4 packs at Tesco on BOGOF. So only £1.53 more than the Tesco glitch but without the hassle and uncertainty but of course none of the fun of the chase!
I wouldn't be at all surprised that if I went to Poundland(which is more of a hassle) I'd find them there even cheaper at times:o
Think I need to give my head a shake sometimes. Someone has beware glitching is addictive as a signature. I would like to add to that, if it were my signature: and it can cloud your judgementwould be added
At the end of the day however I suppose you win some lose some:cool:Awaiting a new sig0 -
BTW, the only price on the LOUNGEWEAR BOTTOM packet was £14.... I only scanned them by chance because they has the SS-11 code on the back that was mentioned by someone else, so THANKS to that poster for that info as well. We do have to work as a team here. :money:
:j :beer::j
Ive noticed these kinda codes a few times and if you don't mind me asking I was wondering what they mean?...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I took something back the other day to have one removed, just walked in through security barriers, set off alarm and went no further till 'eventually' the security woman appeared.... she didn't even ask for the receipt but removed tag for me, I must have an honest looking face:D..... Then I came home from that trip with another item with security tag on , but spotted another poster who said they can be pulled off. Bit of a job, but I got a large screwdriver in to prise open a gap, then needdle nose pilers, so it is possible... You just have to watch firstly not to stab the material with the screwdriver, but mainly, do not have your hand in front of the screwdriver blade or pliers point..... We do not want any MSE'er sitting in A&E when they should be in Mr T.......
Oh dear, I feel and Eileen poem coming on there... where is she when we need her????;);)

Hi all, just a quick pop in. Not much time as gave myself goal at beginning of week to get one big job done a day while DH away and I'm a day behind already. As still trying to fit in my T visits.BTW, the only price on the LOUNGEWEAR BOTTOM packet was £14.... Thanks elsie, I found the pjs yesterday. I think I put on this thread after reading on the main £1 thread about the AW10 and SS11 codes on the barcode labels. There are still bits to be found in with the normal stuff if you look. Although it's not everything in these ranges that have been reduced.
I found yesterday a couple of menswear knitted things, one was a lovely fleece lined chunky wool knitted jacket tag still said £30! With the discount 75p. It's one of the F & F Blue range but garment itself is brown wool/grey fleece inside. Was looking as someone posted about the black chunky knit ones on grabbit. Also scanning £1 were mens knitted hoodies with zips purple and grey striped, tag said £18. Both were from AW10 range.
Another one to look out for are some womens coats from SS11 range, not all have been reduced but I have been lucky.lookinforabargain wrote: »:rotfl:it certainly is

I set the alarm off in my local walking out with couple pairs of these pjs! Shame as they were so nicely wrapped in plastic bag but that had to be ripped open to get to tag.
And to finish off yesterdays delay tactics of doing any work at home I finally found a Casio scientific calculator for £1.25 had been missing these and DD3 had lost hers so very pleased to find it. :T
Happy hunting today. Not sure if will get chance to catch up later so excuse me for few days if I have not managed to thank you all in person. x0
