  • Just had a second offer, which is up on the first. 10 viewings altogether, but I think I will draw a line under them soon. Getting fed up with keeping the house tidy!

Well done you! That is really impressive. I'm sure you will sell soon.

We moved out of our house because I got so fed up of constantly tidying up....

  • It's a pain not being able to hang my underpants on the cooker knob.

I have to say, doing the viewings is a bit of a strain. I'm not very good at being pleasant for that long. Had three viewings tonight and am exhausted (so is the dog).

I have to say that the system is working very well indeed at the moment. I think we will get our asking price.

  • Hi Folks, We have also gone through House Network. Our photos were taken today, and the 'for sale' sign delivered.

Should be getting link to photos. Will post on here when they are live!

Hope we have such a positive experience! I hate keeping tidy too. Have all sorts of junk rammed into cupboards, and am missing hanging my bras on the door knob.

  • Update:

We have 15 viewings, 3 second visits and two offers. I believe that we will get at least two more offers. We are going to call a halt to the viewings next week and ask anybody who is going to make an offer to do so by next weekend. We will sit down and assess them and come to a decision. I have told those who have made offers so far that I wouldn't accept another offer without keeping them in the loop.

It's been fascinating so far and pretty easy to spot the timewasters. Fortunately, I made notes on each viewer otherwise I would be totally confused.

Can't fault Housenetwork but a local agent would be good here for sorting the wheat from the chaff and assessing potential purchaser credibility.

Next update when we have other offers in.

Oh, this gives me hope - we have just 'gone live' with House Network today. As the others have said it has been a very smooth process so far. It went live on Rightmove tonight...I do hope that we get some viewings now! This is the link to our house - http://housenetwork.co.uk/my_site.asp?id=normanke&house=1 - if anyone has any comments/feedback, it would be very much appreciated. The last time that we sold a house it was a very different process as we sold to developers as we had gained planning permission for two properties to be built on the garden - so marketing to people who are actually looking for a house to live in themselves is rather different!

Will keep you posted on progress and if others are getting loads of viewings quickly and we don't, I guess that we have got the asking price wrong!

Well, the one above getting all the viewings is just outside the M25 - so geographic factors come into play, I would say. Closer to London/easier to commute attracts more interest....

How easy is it to commute to London from Lowestoft?

Well done hoof hearted, I can't believe you have had so much interest. You hear so much negativity about house selling at the moment. I have fingers firmly crossed for you - and the others trying to sell - and hope you have a sale very soon.

    Hi folks,

We are on Rightmove just listed today, but bit disappointed as we have a random picture of our bedroom as the main one (on the House Network site it is a proper front of house picture), and we aren't a 'Premium listing' or 'showcase' either which we have paid for. Have phoned and emailed about this, so hoping someone gets back to me soon.

Suoerfly, it looks great. I'm sure you won't have trouble selling it if
Priced right. Best of luck, think we will list with them when time is right. Megan
