Just recieved a payment from SSE, 19 days after it was submitted. Not the fastest I've had; not the slowest, but I'm still waiting to see how things go on their new system.
    3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
Surrey/SE. 30 degree roof pitch, chimney shading from mid afternoon.

EON - FIT reading submitted at 10pm on the 10th of March and payment cleared in my bank account on the morning of the 16th.

I believe EON are showing how it should be done!

Thanks Andy. I'll pass this on to our FIT team. :)

I just got an email from Eon reminding me about my next reading in March - nothing interesting in that as such but it also says,

    Important Note
On 1 April 2015 tariffs for existing customers will be adjusted based on the retail price index. This means that we need you to take a reading from your meter(s) on 31 March 2015 and keep a note of it until your next meter reading is due. This will allow us to know when to stop paying your old tariff rate(s) and start paying your new Tariff rate(s). If you do not provide meter reading(s) for 31 March 2015 we will estimate these for you

So, it looks like they will accept 31 March readings now, which will make us all happy...

    Hi pinnks

Thanks for posting this. We're letting customers know of the proposed change on 1 April 15 so we can make sure we receive as many accurate readings as possible. There's a similar message on the phone line when customers call in with their readings.

There's several ways to send readings to us including by phone, email or, if registered, through our website.

    Thanks again pinnks.

Just a short note to EON - The application form doesn't make it clear that you can send copies of everything with your application . It does say you can send copies of your Passport but not any other items like your MCS cert or the EPC cert ! It should say copies are allowed as now my EPC cert and MCS have been destroyed as they won't return them !
I a quite deliberate about paperwork and forms having been a Police Officer for 30 years! That job revolves around being VERY specific and adhering to what is written to the letter .

Where it does say that you can send copies is on the website ! Well when filling out a form you don't look at a website , do you ? The instructions on the form are quite adequate apart from one really important bit ! Also people don't always have access to the internet

If you can pass this on MALC ?

PS - Will i ever need the certificates again ? Can i get copies or new originals ?

    Who won't? Eon?

That doesn't sound right - I know it was many years ago and the process will have changed, but I sent originals by Special Delivery and they returned them the same way (from memory).
