That's still a delay of over six weeks! Which RECs don't send you a red bill before six weeks ?NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

If they don't then an estimated one would have to be acceptable, as that is the only way you could work it out. If it is that important to you, then you would remember; it only happens once a year. Bet no one on the 'Talking Bout My Generation' thread forgot to take a reading!:rotfl:
I had three statements with this payment as well. One was showing zero, so binned that. The other two for 22nd Feb - 31st March showed the reading I gave them. Then 1st April - 22nd of May went from the reading of 31st March - 22nd of May. I gave them both readings and they used my actual readings. (Apart from always knocking off the figure after the decimal point) But I guess that catches up next time, in future I may just round these up one for a change, that will catch up as well. :beer:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. I think the point is you want confirmation that they have used your reading (if submitted), rather than an estimate. Not everyone keeps a record of their readings once submitted.
Not all FiT providers allow you to submit a reading on a particular day. I submitted my March reading early in the month as I was going to be away towards the end of the month, and EDF don't allow you to submit in April (not a quarterly reading month). EDF only allow one reading per quarter (during months of March, June, September and December), not multiple readings.Cider Country Solar PV generator: 3.7kWp Enfinity system on unshaded SE (-36deg azimuth) & 45deg roof0 -
Any one know what the B. Gas rules are when it is not possible to submit the actual meter reading on the day.
I have a neighbour who is mutually prepared to water the plants, but teaching him how to read a meter and email the results, might be an ask too far.0 -
Initially my first payment was in 10 days. Next one sent to wrong address and took 21 days.
I am currently waiting for a cheque they state was drawn on the 15th May, a replacement drawn on 29th June. I'm told cheques are sent second class and I must allow another 10-14 days !
Why doesn't Centrica use BAC's - because its better to have the money in their account.
My neighbour is also waiting for his May cheque. If this is a deliberate policy, some much for the contract we both signed.0 -

I had an e-mail from E-on sometime in March stating, ' Two reading should be submitted on your due date in order for the payment to be accurate; one for 31st of March, other on your due date, both contained within your due date e-mail; otherwise an estimate will be used'.
Appreciate, if you submit readings by phone you have no record; by e-mail you have the record in your 'sent mail' folder. I keep a folder labelled FIT, all mail I send/receive to FIT team is stored there. I also keep an e-mail in 'Drafts' ready to go next time with the last readings and an estimate (for fun) of what I expect the next reading will be to see how far out my guess is. After 48 days my 2nd payment came into my account yesterday. The first one, 22nd Feb came after 34 days. This one had to be prompted via Twitter & Facebook and they've now said I'm onto their automated systems so we'll see what the 22nd Aug reading brings!
Incidentally this time I've had a statement (well 2, 1 up to 31st March, 1 from 1st April) which I hadn't had (nor missed!) for the 1st payment. I suppose I'd better chase for that ... could take some time I suppose. I'll have a search but don't know how E.on have worked out the 31st March / 1st April split - it's actually marginally in my favour but I think I'll submit a specific reading for that next year. We’ve had to remove your signature.
