    Hello there

Sound like they are doing a good job.

We had our solar installed on 14th Feb 2012. Sent MCS certificate and application to E.on the following week as had to wait for MCS to arrive. Got letter and pre contract papers to sign from them 2 weeks ago. They have asked us to submit a meter reading on 17th August 2012. So looks like we will not get any payment until November. 9 months after unstall.

We know others have had a lot of problems with E.on too.

All we can say is well done to EDF.

    ED

In my experience E.ON were OK to start with. My first reading was 18th Jan this year and it took them less than 30 days to credit my account. The second reading was on 18th April and has only just been paid after making two phone calls. Lets hope that their new 'automated system' speeds things up. However, I'll not be holding my breath.

I got my 1st payment after 21 days. I've been 32 days and counting on this one.

On the brighter side, yesterday I received a letter from Eon, saying they were lowering my payments by £12.00 a month + a cheque for £146.39 because of lower usage! The check is in my bank today.:j

I will report back when my payment arrives from B.Gas.
  • Just sitting on the phone attempting to get through to EON's FIT team. 15 minutes now, enough to complete registration for this site. I submitted my last reading on 26thApril and am still awaiting payment. this whole scam is now becoming ridiculous as payment process time gets longer and longer.

I'm with SDJ, as EDF seem to pay up on mass, or at least may have during the last couple of claims.

However, for the purposes of playing this game, I'll try to remember to submit a reading in mid June, to see how the payments dates compare.

    Mart.

SDJ & Orrery, as promised, reading submitted today. So who will get paid first? Or all together?

    Update in a month perhaps!

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

I submitted my reading to Good Energy on the 14th - estimate is August payment. Though I can't recall having had a contract yet. Umm, another thing to check!

I received an email yesterday from EDF asking me to submit my reading and warning me to ignore the mail I received earlier in the day (I hadn't received a mail) as they'd had a system problem. I wonder if I should be worried.

FYI I'm with Good Energy too. I signed up online but they sent the paperwork by snail mail after a few weeks. I wonder if yours was "lost in the post".

  • An mix of posts here, but just to let people know - Eon last Thursday (14th June 2012) told me that they'd "got to 20th February" for FIT applications, so mine (submitted 23rd Feb) should be processed "in two to three weeks".

So anyone still waiting for Eon to get a move on, that gives you an idea of the delay - about four months, not including first meter reading to first payment, of course...
